Good morning, warriors! Today, I want to share with you my first victory using a dragon summoner for the first time — with just a few allies — to defeat an opponent who was also using a dragon summoner.
I welcome you 🤗 to my blog @zusi78!

That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

Featured card:
Today's featured card is none other than the legendary dragon summoner Nidhoggr.

In the rich, ever-expanding lore of #Splinterlands, Nidhoggr stands as one of the most ancient, terrifying, and awe-inspiring forces in the entire world of Praetoria. He is not just another summoner card,he is a primordial guardian whose very existence shakes the foundations of the continent itself.

The Official Lore of Nidhoggr (Straight from #Splinterlands Canon)
Deep beneath the surface of Praetoria, in the nethermost reaches of the Deep (the vast, mysterious cavern system that lies far below the continent), something immense has slumbered for longer than memory or recorded history can reach.
“Something indescribably huge with an insatiable appetite.
Since before the reach of memory or history, the immense dragon known as Nidhoggr has slumbered beneath Praetoria, buried in the nethermost reaches of the Deep.”
He is a Guardian Dragon , one of the rarest and most powerful bloodlines among the Draconics. More than that, he is the custodian of the ley lines, the invisible magical veins that hold the very fabric of reality together across the #Splinterlands and beyond. These ley lines are what keep the realms stable. When the Chaos Empire tore open rifts during their invasion, those ley lines were disrupted and Nidhoggr stirred.
He rose from his buried chasm, shaking off an entire mountain of rock and debris like it was dust. He then commanded the denizens of the Deep (strange, ancient creatures that rarely see the surface) to venture upward and observe what was happening in the world above. What he learned filled him with fury:
And he found them both guilty.
Praetoria trembles as Nidhoggr stretches his wings and tears at the earth with claws and teeth. Soon, he will rise, both vengeful and ravenous. He does not take sides. He is not an ally of the Splinterlands or the Chaos Empire. He is an elemental force of judgment,a living cataclysm awakened to restore balance in the only way he knows: destruction. Player communities have rightly nicknamed stories about him “Nidhoggr Will Burn The World”, because that is exactly the threat he poses. He is the dragon that could literally devour Praetoria itself if left unchecked.

Battle and Ruleset

In this battle I am about to share, the ruleset was straight forward:
The total mana cost was 26, and you are to chose from the dragon and life dplinters only.My lineup consist of the following;
My team (Nidhoggr – Level 1 Legendary Dragon Summoner with option B, +2 speed + execute):
My opponent’s team (Kavor Skarn – Level 2 Dragon Summoner with Bloodline +1 Speed):

Round 1
Six against Three
At the start of this round,Nidhoggr applies these debuffs to every enemy monster:
-1 max Health.
-1 max Armor.
Forced Reduction. All six enemy monsters started the battle already weakened and brittle.

Round 1,scene 4
If you observe and constrast the first screenshot with this, all my opponents monster has -1 deducted from their health and all my three monsters gain +2 speed and execute activated a game changing tactics.

Round 1,Scene 7 & 9
Straight and first kill by Dragonfang lancer

Round 2
Second kill by Dragonfang Lancer, this time unleashing execute.

Execute on opponent tank full completed

Round 2, Scene 8
Lost my my last monster

Round 3
Second execute ability lactivated, killing the third monster also by Dragonfang Lancer

Round 3, Scene 5
My tank taking out another monster and from here till the end of this battle,it was killing spree by Dragonfang unleashing the execute ability granted by nidhoggr till the end

Round 4
Execute galore

Round 5
Last execute,2 against 1,game over

My Verdict
All 6 enemy monsters started the battle already weakened (-1 HP / -1 Armor from Nidhoggr).
Dragonfang Lancer, now super fast (+2 Speed), went early and used Opportunity to focus on the weakest enemy.
Dragonfang Lancer basically chain-killed multiple enemies per round while my other two allies held the line and also cleaned up stragglers. My opponent’s extra numbers couldn’t compensate for how fast his team was melting.
This is why my 3-monster team crushed a 6-monster team, quality and synergy completely trumped quantity. The debuffs made his big army fragile, and the Execute + Opportunity + Speed combo turned Dragonfang Lancer into an executioner that just kept deleting threats before they could swarm me.
Have you tried Nidhoggr yet? Drop your own dragon-summoner stories below,I’d love to hear them!
Keep slaying, warriors! 🔥
