Splinterlands has just launched a new mechanic that promises to change players’ daily routines: Lux’s Favor. The concept is simple, but extremely effective – a Spin the Wheel based on a Daily Streak system. The more consistent you are and the more days you log in, the bigger the rewards become.

Since I’m drawn to this kind of dynamic, I decided to test it out firsthand. After just two days, the results have me looking at this feature with much more interest than just a “filler reward.”
The first day was a typical warm-up. A quick spin netted me around 150 Sparks – a decent reward, but nothing to get your head around.
The real surprise came on the second day, however. The wheel stopped on a massive 1000 Sparks drop! This sudden jump showed me that the system is not stingy and that the prize pool hides truly valuable rewards, capable of boosting your progress in one fell swoop.

In addition to the lucky 1000 Sparks drop, the game interface indicated to me an important change: moving to Tier I and activating a +10% Sparks bonus.
This is where the real strategy behind Lux’s Favor comes in. The game doesn’t just give you a random prize every day, it builds you a progressive multiplier:
Consistency is key: Each day you tick off moves you up to higher Tiers (Tier I, Tier II, etc.).
The Amplification Effect: This +10% (and the higher percentages to come) is applied directly to what you win on the wheel. If you’re lucky enough to land another big 1000 Sparks drop while you’re in an advanced Tier, the added bonus will start to weigh heavily on your account balance.
The only enemy in this system is a missed day. If you forget to spin the wheel, your streak is interrupted, and your progress resets back to day 1, losing any accumulated multipliers.

For an effort of just a few seconds per day, the opportunity to catch big drops, amplified by an ever-increasing Tier bonus, makes Lux’s Favor a must-do every time you log in. It remains to be seen how high the bonus percentage will climb if I manage to keep the streak going without any interruptions!
