Splinterlands: An Ultimate Battle With a Legendary Archon!🔥

Last season, I had some really fun battles with Captain Frankie, and frankly, I didn't think I'd get the chance to play those kinds of battles again with the same cards anytime soon, unless I rented or bought Captain Frankie again. But before doing that, this season I planned to test a different Archon. This is also a legendary Archon from the Conclave Arcana set, and although its powers aren't as cool as Captain Frankie's Inspire power, I still liked this Archon because my deck is full of cards that can utilise its powers. This is an important point to consider because you can add a super-powerful Archon to your deck, but if you don't have cards capable of supporting it, then what's the point of having that Archon's powers? So far this season, I've had some really fun battles with my chosen Archon, Elowen Sylphie, and today's battle is one of them, where my team, built with Elowen Sylphie's supporters and melee attackers, completely crushed the opponent.

In my lineup, I primarily included melee attackers since my Archon gives the melee cards of its bloodline the freedom to attack from anywhere in the lineup, which is a huge advantage for melee attackers. In addition, I gave two of my cards the Resurgence and Trample abilities. Resurgence gives a card the power to respawn with 100% health and armour, and Trample allows a card to perform another attack of equal power on another card in the lineup after defeating an opponent. At the end of the lineup, I placed a magic card with the Camouflage ability, and at the very front, I placed a melee card with the Thorns ability. One of the cards I gave the Resurgence and Trample abilities to was this front-row card, whose final defeat resulted in two of the opponent's most important cards being knocked out, and also weakened several of the opponent's remaining cards.

Then came the turn of this legendary Archon's second amazing ability, Trample, which my Endless Ape used perfectly. Endless Ape is the second card to which I granted the Resurgence and Trample abilities from my Archon. And because this Archon gives its bloodline's melee cards the freedom to attack from anywhere in the lineup, and Endless Ape belongs to its supporter bloodline, even though it was in the second position in the lineup, it actively performed attacks. It first knocked out the enemy's current first-position card and then, using the power of the Trample ability, performed another attack on the enemy's second card. And look how two of the enemy's cards were knocked out back-to-back!

Currently, you can see four cards in my lineup, but thanks to the Resurgence ability, Endless App actually has two lives, meaning I have a total of 4+1=5 cards, one of which is still secretly hidden in the team. That's the power of the Resurgence ability, and that's why I like this legendary Arcanist so much. Hopefully, with this, I'll be able to improve my win rate this season and maybe even reach the Silver League on the leaderboard.🔥

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more.
