There are some days when Splinterlands feels like the easiest game in the world.
You pick your cards, create your lineup, enter the battle, and everything goes exactly as planned.
Then there are other days…
The game seems to wake up and decide:
“Today, I am going to test this player’s patience.” 😂
You enter a battle feeling confident.
You have enough mana.
You have a strategy.
You have selected cards that you believe work well together.
You even look at your opponent’s lineup and think you have a good chance.
Then the battle begins.
And suddenly, nothing is going according to plan.
Your tank is taking way too much damage.
Your attacks are not landing the way you expected.
The opponent’s cards are somehow surviving everything.
You start looking at the screen wondering if your cards have secretly joined the other team. 😂
But that is part of the fun.
You cannot win every battle, and you definitely cannot predict everything that will happen.
Sometimes your strategy is simply not good enough.
Sometimes your opponent has a better combination.
Sometimes you make one small mistake that completely changes the battle.
And sometimes…
you just get unlucky. 😂
But instead of getting too frustrated, I have started seeing those moments as part of the learning process.
Every loss gives me something to think about.
Maybe I should have changed my tank.
Maybe I should have placed a card somewhere else.
Maybe I needed more speed.
Maybe I completely misunderstood the ruleset.
Or maybe I just need to accept that the opponent played better. 😂
The funny thing is that after a frustrating loss, I usually want to play another battle almost immediately.
Because now I want revenge.
I want to prove that the previous battle was just a mistake. 😂
So I go back, try another lineup, make a few adjustments and enter another battle.
Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it doesn’t.
But that is how the game keeps pulling me back in.
There is always another strategy to test.
Another card to experiment with.
Another opponent to face.
Another opportunity to turn a bad run around.
And when you finally get that satisfying winning streak after struggling for a while, it feels even better.
That is probably what I enjoy most about the journey.
It is not always about winning.
It is about the little moments.
The unexpected comeback.
The card that suddenly becomes an MVP.
The battle you thought you had lost but somehow won.
The ridiculous mistake you make and laugh about afterwards.
And, of course, the battles where you stare at the screen thinking:
“How did I possibly lose that?” 😂
Then five minutes later…
“Okay, one more battle.”
And that is how it goes.
One more battle becomes another.
Another becomes another.
Before you know it, you are completely invested in the next match.
Splinterlands definitely knows how to test my patience, but it also knows how to keep things interesting.
So I will keep experimenting, keep learning, keep trying new strategies, and most importantly…
keep pressing that battle button. 😂🔥
