Splinterlands and My Bad Decisions 😂

I have discovered something about myself while playing Splinterlands.

I make very confident bad decisions. 😂

You know that moment when you have a few seconds left to build your team?

You are looking at the cards.

The timer is running.

You know you need to make a decision quickly.

And instead of choosing the safe option, your brain suddenly says:

“Try this random card.”

You listen.

You choose it.

The battle starts.

And immediately you regret everything. 😂

The funny part is that you knew it was probably a bad idea.

But you still did it.

Then your opponent’s lineup appears and you start comparing teams.

Their lineup looks organized.

Balanced.

Well thought out.

Mine looks like I selected cards by closing my eyes and pointing at the screen. 😂

But I still have hope.

Maybe the strategy will work.

First attack.

Okay.

Second attack.

Still okay.

Then suddenly one of my cards gets destroyed.

Now I’m thinking:

“It’s fine. We can recover.”

Another card goes down.

“Okay… maybe not.”

Another one.

At this point, I’m no longer playing strategically.

I’m just watching. 😂

Then comes the moment when you realize the battle is basically finished.

You sit there watching your last card fight like:

“Come on, brother. You can do this.”

The card attacks.

Misses.

😂

And that’s when you know it’s over.

The battle ends.

You lose.

You stare at the screen for a few seconds.

Then somehow your brain says:

“Let’s play another one.”

WHY? 😂

You just watched your entire strategy collapse, and your solution is to immediately try again.

So you build another lineup.

This time you tell yourself:

“I’m going to think properly.”

You check everything carefully.

You consider the rules.

You consider the mana.

You choose your cards.

You position them properly.

You look at the lineup.

Perfect.

Then you remember the previous battle.

You become nervous.

😂

Now you’re overthinking everything.

“Should I change this card?”

“No, leave it.”

“Maybe move this one.”

“No, don’t touch it.”

“Actually…”

The timer is almost finished.

You panic.

You press battle.

And now it’s too late.

Whatever happens, happens. 😂

But honestly, that’s part of what makes Splinterlands fun.

Sometimes you make a brilliant decision.

Sometimes you make a terrible decision.

Sometimes you win despite making a terrible decision.

And sometimes you lose even though you thought you had created the greatest lineup known to mankind. 😂

At the end of the day, I just laugh, learn from the battle and try again.

Because apparently one thing I will never run out of in Splinterlands is confidence…

and questionable decisions. 😂
