That is according to the situation it can be used as an attacker or to strengthen the team.

However, it is important to look at the level and position to get the full benefit of this card. Especially if you want to use shadow focus you have to decide to reduce one source of attack and strengthen the whole team. So it is important to understand the opponent's team and battle ruleset.

In my opinion Firebrand Ranger is a card whose effectiveness depends on the right strategy. Knowing when to attack the enemy's back row and when to reinforce your team can play a role in battle.
