Splinterlands- Chaos Golem: A powerful warrior that withstands attacks and strikes back.

Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well. In today’s post I will discuss a legendary monster from the fire splinter. In battles some cards are valuable not just for attacking but also for absorbing enemy strikes and applying counter pressure and the Chaos Golem is one such card.

It has a mana cost of 9. At level 1 it boasts 3 melee attack, 3 speed, 4 armor and 10 health. With its solid health and armor it can hold the front line and endure enemy attacks making it a strong candidate for the tank position when building your team. However given its high mana cost you must be strategic when selecting the rest of your monsters.

Its first ability is return fire which reflects a portion of the damage back to the attacker whenever it is hit by a ranged attack making it highly effective against teams that rely on ranged units. At level 2 it gains enrage which boosts its melee attack and speed ​​after taking damage essentially it becomes even more dangerous after being struck. At higher levels it gains retaliate providing a chance to strike back immediately after being hit by a melee attack.

In my view its greatest strengths are its survivability and its potential for counter attacks. Keep in mind however that return fire does not trigger against magic attacks. Therefore it is crucial to consider the battle’s ruleset and the opponent’s team composition before choosing this card.

When placed in the right team combination the it can anchor the front line and force your opponent to think twice before launching an attack.
