Splinterlands 🐉| Chaos Legion is Moving to Wild Format! Card Market 60K Volume! [EN/PT]

However, despite the many criticisms of this collection, it is important to remember that Splinterlands' combination mechanism, which burns cards to generate a higher-level card, would solve this problem with the right amount of players. The issue is that expectations were high for the arrival of new players, but it ended up not happening, causing the supply to not meet sufficient demand, even though the game has a very solid player base.

Another interesting fact is that since the set is no longer used in the Modern Format, the demand for Chaos Legion cards has reduced significantly, so much so that I believe they have fallen about 20% of their value before the change. Furthermore, when looking at the chart of the value of a gold-level Chaos Legion set, it can be seen that in the last few days it has dropped significantly, from the $800 it was at the beginning of the month to something closer to $600, indicating that there has indeed been a drop in demand for these cards by players. But it is worth remembering that the cards still have utility in the Wild Format and in the Lands.

On the other hand, while the Chaos Legion set is moving to Wild Format, two sets have remained in Modern for now, receiving the full attention of players, after the set shift on May 13th. During those days, players who were using Chaos Legion cards found themselves with no options but to buy or rent cards from the most recent Splinterlands sets to continue playing in Modern Format.

Furthermore, those who had Chaos Legion cards and did not have the capital available may have thought about selling their old cards to buy the new ones. Situations like this were common around the 13th, causing the market to triple in movements in the last few days, going from $20k in volume to $60k in trading volume.

In addition to the card market chart, the card rental itself confirms this great demand for cards from the most recent sets. In the Marketplace, when selecting the Modern filter and then filtering by the most expensive rentals, we can see that many cards that are even rare and common are renting for over 50 DEC per day, meaning that the rental price has gone up significantly due to the high demand.

The Rebellion Rewards cards, such as Dark Arborist, were quite impressive, as they are not being available in large quantities to rent just 1 or 2 units in most cases. It may be that there is no demand at the moment since they are obtained from the glint shop, but in the future when the cards change there will be no other way but to rent them and there is no quantity of cards for a possible arrival of new players in Modern.

Dia 13 de maio talvez seja uma data que fique marcada para sempre na história do Splinterlands, por conta de tudo que ela significa para o jogo. Para quem ainda não conhece do background, a coleção de Chaos Legion foi talvez a coleção que teve o maior número de cartas nfts printadas, o que fez com que o preço das cartas caísse drasticamente por conta da grande oferta.

Entretanto, por mais que tenham muitas críticas para essa coleção é importante lembrar do mecanismo de combinação do Splinterlands que queima as cartas para gerar uma de nível maior resolveria esse problema com a quantidade de jogadores certa. A questão é que a expectativa foi alta para a chegada de novos jogadores, mas acabou não acontecendo, fazendo com que a oferta não encontrasse demanda suficiente, mesmo o jogo tendo uma playerbase bem sólida.

Outro fato interessante é que como a coleção deixou de ser usada no Modern Format, a procura pelas cartas Chaos Legion reduziram bastante, tanto que eu acredito que elas tenham caído uns 20% do seu valor anterior à mudança. Além disso, ao observar o gráfico do valor de um set chaos legion de nível gold, pode ser notado que nos últimos dias ele tem caído bastante, saindo do valor de $800 que se encontrava no início do mês para algo mais próximo de $600, indicando que realmente houve uma queda na procura dessas cartas pelos jogadores. Mas vale lembrar que as cartas ainda tem utilidade no Wild Format e nas Lands.

Por outro lado, enquanto a coleção Chaos Legion está mudando para o Wild Format, duas coleções continuaram no Modern por enquanto, recebendo toda a atenção dos jogadores, depois do shift de coleções no dia 13 de maio. Nesse dias os jogadores que estavam utilizando as cartas Chaos Legion se encontraram sem opções a não ser comprar ou alugar cartas das coleções mais recentes do Splinterlands para continuarem jogando no Modern Format.

Além disso, para quem quem tinha as cartas chaos legion e não tinha capital disponível pode ter pensando em vender suas cartas antigas para comprar as novas. Situações como essa foram comuns próximos do dia 13, fazendo com que o mercado triplicasse em movimentações nesses últimos dias, saindo de $20k de volume para $60k em volume de negociação.

Além do gráfico do Market de cartas, o próprio aluguel de cartas que confirma essa grande busca pelas cartas das coleções mais recentes. No Marketplace ao selecionar o filtro de Modern e depois filtrar pelos aluguel mais caros, podemos indentificar que muitas cartas que são até mesmo raras e comuns estão com alugueis acima de 50 DEC por dia, ou seja, o preço para alugar subiu bastante com a grande procura.

Foi bem impressionante as cartas Rebellion Rewards, como o Dark Arborist que não estão tendo boas quantidades disponíveis para alugar apenas 1 ou 2 unidades na maioria dos casos. Pode ser que não há procura no momento já que elas são obtidas no glint shop, mas no futuro quando as cartas mudarem não vai ter outra forma se não alugar e não tem quantidade de cartas para uma possível chegada de novos jogadores no Modern.
