EPIC CARD from a Minor Chest! (EOS REWARD)

One of the highlights of the End of Season opening/reward selection was getting an Epic card from a Minor Chest, with a current probability of 0.25%. This was a real surprise, and it's curious that at the time I was debating between using 15k glint to get the Minor Chests or another Epic Draw. Luckily, choosing the Loot Chests was the right decision, and the rest of the rewards ended up being a "bonus". In addition, there were other smaller rewards and also an upgrade, and many other common cards are almost at the required quantity to level up in the next EOS; it's possible that 2-4 cards will level up.

The last season of Splinterlands ended a few days ago and, as usual, when the season ends, the End Of Season (EOS) rewards, which is a quantity of glint that accumulates throughout the season, are distributed to Splinterlands players. Last season's performance ended up being quite interesting, placing me, if I'm not mistaken, one or two ranks higher than usual, but the reward didn't change much. However, I believe I received 5 to 10k more glint, which is already very good, since glint's utility has been increasing and more glint is never a bad thing.

Thus, as a way to review the purchases made with glint in the Gwen's Glint Shop Reward Store and also to share the rewards found with other players, let's now move on to the rewards themselves. As I've mentioned in previous posts about upgrading my deck with Glint from EOS, I usually try to get an epic card through the Epic Draw, since the chances are very low in Loot Chests and these cards end up having a big impact on matches, as they usually have good stats and useful abilities for various situations even at level 1. The epic card I got from the epic draw was Rila Fen. Unfortunately, it was a card I had already acquired before, so there's not much to say, but overall a good card, but it would have been MUCH better if it had been a different card.

In addition, as usual I also usually get Batch 1 of Merits since it has the best cost-benefit ratio and costs only 2000 Glint for 2000 Merits. Next comes opening the Loot Chests, which mixes the desire to get something incredible within the jackpot possibilities, but also to obtain common and rare cards, which are still many levels away from reaching the level of my summoners. Meanwhile, the strategy will continue to be opening Minor Chests, which have the best cost-benefit ratio in terms of common and rare cards. And I must also confess that it's much better to open several chests than to open only a few major chests or almost none ultimate chests.

With a good portion of my EOS glint, I decided to open 59 Minor Chests hoping to get at least one item better than a rare card from the Reward collection. However, the opening started with only half at a time, that is, 30 Minor Chests, to make it easier to score the best rewards found. In this first opening, I got 3 Common Scrolls, 1 Rare Scroll, only 3 rare cards and 7 common cards, overall below expectations. Then, the remaining 29 chests contained 10 common cards, 2 rare cards and 2 common scrolls, so if I thought the previous opening was mediocre, this one was WAY below expectations.

I was debating whether to get another epic draw or open more Minor Chests, and decided to give the Minor Chests another chance, opening 30 more chests, hoping luck would be on my side and something incredible would come! And to my surprise, something truly amazing came, an epic card, Joraki Venshiro. In addition, I got 8 common cards and 2 common scrolls.

Upgrades and Highlights

The first highlight was Joraki Venshiro, an archer with 3 damage, which is great damage, 6 HP which is average, and 3 speed which is also average, all at level 1. I currently have 2 of his, so when I have 2 more, I'll be able to evolve him to level 2, where he wins against Beyond the Painforge ability, there's the Blind ability, which is more general and helps the whole team. I keep thinking that if I had gotten the Epic Draw, I wouldn't have gotten this card or all the other rewards, which ended up coming as a bonus.

Furthermore, while several other common cards are now close to reaching level 4, the card that, with these rewards, reached the necessary amount to reach the next level was the Palimpsest Prophet, which will reach level 3m gaining another speed stat. It's not much, but in matches, any extra stat helps.

Um dos destaques da abertura/escolha das recompensas de End of Season foi conseguir uma carta épica de um Minor Chest, sendo que a probabilidade atual é de 0.25%, ou seja, foi uma verdade surpresa e é curioso que no momento eu estava na dúvida entre usar 15k de glint para pegar os Minor Chests ou mais uma Epic Draw, por sorte a escolha dos Loot Chests foi certeira e o restante das recompensas acabou sendo um "bônus". A última season de Splinterlands acabou faz alguns poucos dias e como de costume, quando a season acaba, as recompensas de End Of Season (EOS), que é uma quantidade glint que vai sendo acumulada ao longo da season, é distribuída aos jogadores de Splinterlands. No última season a performance acabou sendo bem interessante ficando, se não me engano um ou dois ranks acima do que geralmente fica, mas a recompensa não mudou muito, mas acredito ter vindo 5 à 10k de glint a mais, o que já está muito bom, já que o glint tem aumentando de utilidade e mais glint nunca é demais.

Assim, como forma de revisar as compras realizadas com o glint na Reward Store da Gwen’s Glint Shop e também para compartilhar as recompensas encontradas com os demais jogadores, vamos agora partir para as recompensas em si. Como eu já venho mencionando em outros conteúdos anteriores sobre Upgrade de Deck com Glint de EOS, eu geralmente busco tentar conseguir uma carta épica através do Epic Draw, já que as chances estão muito baixas nos Loot Chests e essas cartas acabam tendo um grande impacto nas partidas, já que costumam possuir já no nível 1 bons status e habilidades úteis para diversas ocasiões. A carta épica que eu consegui da epica draw foi a Rila Fen. Infelizmente foi uma carta que eu já havia conquistado antes, então não tem muito a mencionar, mas no geral uma boa carta, mas teria sido MUITO melhor se tivesse sido uma carta diferente.

Além disso, como de costume eu geralmente pego também o Batch 1 de Merits já que tem o melhor custo benefício e custa apenas 2000 Glint por 2000 Merits. Em seguida, vem a abertura dos Loot Chests, em que mistura um pouco da contade de conseguir alguma coisa incrível dentro das possibilidades do jackpot, mas também obter cartas comuns e raras, que ainda faltam muitos níveis até atingir o nível dos meus summoners, enquanto isso a estratégia continuará sendo de abrir os Minor Chests, que tem o melhor custo benefício com relação à cartas comuns e raras. E eu também devo confesar que é muito melhor abrir vários baús do que abrir apenas alguns de major chests ou quase nada de ultimate chest.

Com uma boa parte do meu glint de EOS decidi abrir 59 Minor Chest na expectativa de conseguir pelo menos algum item melhor do que uma carta rara da coleção Reward. Entretanto, a abertura começou com apenas metade de uma vez, ou seja, 30 Minor Chests, para ficar mais fácil de pontuar as melhores recompensas encontradas. Nessa primeira abertura vieram 3x Commons Scroll, 1x Rare Scroll, apenas 3x cartas raras e 7x comuns, no geral abaixo do esperado. Em seguida, os 29 baús restantes veio 10x cartas comuns, 2x cartas raras e 2x commons scrolls, com isso se eu achei que a abertura anterior foi mediana, essa então foi BEM abaixo mesmo.

Estava na dúvida se pegava mais uma épica draw ou abria mais Minor Chests, e decide dar mais uma chance aos Minor chests, e com isso abrir mais 30 baús, espero que a sorte esteja presente e venha algo incrível! E para a minha surpresa realmente veio algo surpreendente, uma carta épica, o Joraki Venshiro. Além disso, vieram 8x cartas comuns, 2x common scrolls.

Upgrades e Destaques

O primeiro destaque foi o Joraki Venshiro, que é um arqueiro com 3 de dano, o que é um ótimo dano, 6 de HP que é mediano e 3 de velocidade que também é mediano, tudo isso no nível 1. Atualmente tenho 2 bcx dele, então quando tiver mais 2, vou consegui evoluir para o lvl 2, em que ele ganha de habilidade além da painforge a habilidade blind que é mais geral e ajuda toda a equipe. Fico pensando que se eu tivesse pego a Epic Draw não teria conseguido essa carta e nem mais todas as demais recompensas, que acabaram vindo como um bônus.

Além disso, por mais que várias outras cartas comuns estejam agora próximas de chegar no nível 4, a carta que com essas recompensas atingiu a quantidade necessária para chega no próximo nível foi o Palimpsest Prophet, que vai chegar no nível 3m ganhando mais um status de velocidade, não é muito, mas nas partidas qualquer status a mais ajuda.
