Lets Purchase Some Credits [2026-04-08]

Looking at my Splinterlands account I can see that my CREDITS are getting low. At this exact moment I have just 80 credits which is equal to 8 cents. That just won't do - how do I fix this. The answer: Get More! Before we do that lets first go over how to get to the section that allows us to purchase credits. First you will need to log in to Splinterlands > Hover to the top of the home-page > Notice the CREDITS icon > Click the + button next to the credits icon > A new page will pop up > Boom you are in the right section. The page you are now on should look like the header image above. If it doesn't you are in the wrong section. If so you have two options to purchase () Crypto and/or () PayPal. For our demonstration here today we will be utilizing the CRYPTO option. To do so hover over and click on the CRYPTO icon. Once you do so an updated page will appear that looks like the below image. If you don't see the below image on the page you are on it means you are in the wrong section. If you do continue on.

As noted in the above screenshot -> For every 100,000 Credits purchased within a single transaction you earn a bonus. For every 500,000 Credits purchased within a single transaction there is an additional bonus added on top of existing bonuses. Means of payment include but may not be limited to () USDC () SPS () HIVE () HBD () SWAP.BTC. You may have also noticed the above screenshot displays a service fee. That service fee breaks down like this: () Paypal purchases under $25 have a 7% fee () Paypal purchases of $25 - $100 have a 5% fee () Paypal purchases of $100 or more have a 3.5% fee () Crypto purchases have a 1% fee. As we can see the option with the least amount of fees is Crypto. I will say the other fees do look reasonable to me with thresholds easy enough to meet. There is also two different tiered bonuses for those who wish to purchase a bulk amount of CREDITS. To qualify for the BULK bonuses one needs to purchase at least 100,000 Credits. Don't forget to double check all values before purchase.

Alright - now that we went over all that - Lets make our purchase. As we are on the Hive Blockchain we will be utilizing one of the main Hive Blockchain currencies (HBD). To do so all we need to do is follow the instructions above and select HBD (Hive Back Dollars) out of the drop down list of choices. For this demonstration we will be purchasing 8000 Credits. The total cost of doing so is $8.08 ($8 for the credits and 8 cents worth of fees). As noted in the screenshot below -> Credits may be used to purchase items in the shop or marketplace. The purchase and use of credits are subject to the terms of service and my be subject to limits and restrictions. Also note: () Always be sure to account for any network or gas fees so that the correct amount is received. () A new wallet address is generated for most transactions, do not send new payments to old payment addresses. After going through the above motions all that is left is to pay. I'll be using the secure app known as Keychain to do so. Keep those keys safe.

Let me tell you when I say that transaction was instant I mean instant. It took me longer to create the above screenshot than it did to complete the process of paying for and receiving my credits. Splinterlands has done a great job with the smoothness and ease of use with this feature, very impressive. I now have an additional 8000 Credits sitting in my Splinterlands account. I'm not sure what I'll spend them on yet but something tells me its going to something to do with the Foundation set. I been slowly adding to my Foundation collection, maxing a card here and there. Not to mention the Foundation card packs are currently trading at very affordable rates. Direct card purchases or pack purchases, whatever I decide I have some time to do so. Those credits of mine aren't going anywhere. They will be patiently waiting for me to utilize them. It won't take me too long to do so but for now I must bid you farewell.
