Splinterland's: How do you understand if it is profitable to farm resources in your land?

I have recently stopped producing wood in my land, as I find it is not very profitable for me to farm wood in my land, but in some cases, it sometimes happens that producing resources in the land may start giving negative returns to produce the resources. I actually stopped when returns are not negative but they are diminished to the level where I decided that farming for wood is not worth for me.

If you see the above screenshots, you will see that it require 160 grain per hour to produce the wood in my plot. I am getting 80 wood per hour. When I checked the prices of the resources in the pool, I found that 160 grain cost 2.23 DEC but selling 80 Wood give me 2.73 DEC that give me profit of .4 DEC . So in a day I will earn 9.6 DEC in a day. Now someone will ask that why I am still not producing resources when it is still positive? Actually producing a resource also requires staking DEC in the land, and I did not find it useful to stake so much DEC for producing a return of 10 DEC per day.

If you see that I have changed or enhanced my cards for Grain production, that increased my grain production by 30 Grains per hour that means 9.6 DEC per day, but it cost extra 4000 DEC stake, but discontinuing the wood farm helped me to reduce the staked DEC by almost 12K DEC and I am able to get same results.

I hope, based on this , you will be able to understand if producing wood, stone or ore is profitable in you land or not.
