Splinterlands Grind: Streak Reset, and 10 Intense Battles

Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the game fully.

In the previous blog, I shared that I received a new card skin Wild Horse Tamer Traveling Bazaar Skin from the daily reward and then lost a match in Frontier Ranked. My intention was that next time I will not make mistakes, but what happened after that is in today's blog...

In today's post, I am sharing the full story of missing the login, daily spin, current level, and 10 back-to-back ranked matches played.

Forgot to login to the game yesterday and streak is 0 again!

Yesterday I went to a friend's place for a "dawat" (treat/dinner) and logging into the game totally slipped my mind. When I opened the game, once again, my daily streak was broken and I was back on Day 0!

Just a day before, the streak had reset and now zero again, that everything got wasted just because of missing one day. The good thing is that Active Streak Shield is still on and I need 2 more days to reach the next Spark Bonus. Now I will try my best to log in daily so that the streak does not break.

Daily Wheel Spin and +2 Frontier Energy!

The streak was gone, but I spun the wheel to claim the daily reward. This time luck was good and I got +2 FRONTIER ENERGY!

I badly needed this extra energy so I could take revenge for the last loss and play as many matches as possible to improve my rank. So just took the energy and jumped straight into the battle.

Checking my Account and Level (Stats Check)

Before starting the match, I checked my rank and level stats:

• Player Level: 1 (full 1,000 points are required to reach Level 2, meaning a long journey is still left)
• Current Rank: Frontier Bronze III (Rating: 320)
• Total Battles (All-Time): 58 matches (24 wins and 34 losses)
• Highest Rating: 460
• Win Rate: 41.38% (Longest Win Streak: 6)

To move up from Bronze III, I had to win good matches today.

10 Back-to-Back Matches in Arena: 6 Losses and 4 Wins!

As soon as I got the energy, I played 10 Frontier Ranked Battles back-to-back. The session was quite up and down. Total was 4 wins and 6 losses:

• Battle 1 (34 Mana - vs SATREXUS_LITE) Defeat: My Fire team could not stand in front of the strong cards of Death Summoner and I lost the very first match.

• Battle 2 (41 Mana - vs SATREXUS_LITE) Defeat: The next match was also against the same opponent. In high mana, brought Death against Death, but opponent's speed was higher and I lost the second match too.

• Battle 3 (55 Mana - vs _SLBB_FARAMARANTH) Victory: After two losses, I changed the lineup. It was a big match of 55 mana, deployed heavy tank and rangers, and got the first wonderful win of the session!

• Battle 4 (95 Mana - vs _SLBB_MIGHTYAQUA...) Victory: This was a huge battle of 95 mana! My team fought hard against the opponent's Earth cards and secured the second consecutive win.

• Battle 5 (30 Mana - vs C3R34LK1LL3R) Defeat: Opponent's magic summoner was very heavy, my tank got eliminated quickly, and I lost this match.

• Battle 6 (37 Mana - vs C3R34LK1LL3R) Defeat: Faced the same guy again. Made a small positioning mistake and lost one more match.

• Battle 7 (24 Mana - vs _SLBB_WRITTENVIOL...) Victory: Low mana matches are always a test of the brain. Deployed Owl summoner with cheap cards and the strategy worked perfectly, got another win!

• Battle 8 (26 Mana - vs CTERAO430) — Defeat: Defense could not hold against the heavy monsters of Earth, and lost a very close match.

• Battle 9 (80 Mana - vs NOTVICE) DEFEAT: Placed good cards in 80 mana, but opponent took down the backline attackers first, lost this match as well.

• Battle 10 (38 Mana - vs _SLBB_JUDICIALCYAN) Victory: It was the last match and my intention was to finish with a win. Made such a balanced setup of Water and Magic that opponent could not recover and I won the last match!

My Result and Suggestion

Out of 10, 6 losses and 4 wins clearly show that my deck worked really great in high mana (55 and 95). A little mess is happening in medium mana (30 to 40), on which I still need to focus more...

Now the next plan is not to forget daily login, take the streak forward, and push the Bronze III rating above 400.
