Welcome to another fresh splinterlands post, and I guess you all are doing well in your lives and enjoying a vibrant day with your loved ones. Now, if you are already a splinterlands player who enjoys burning their mind daily in the game like a routine, and continuously push themselves to reach higher trophy counts and enhance their digital NFT asset collection in splinterlands, I hope you all are focusing on the ranked season section right now and trying to push and shove your position upwards. If we take a look at the clock of the ongoing ranked season, only around 9 days and 4 hours left for this season to meet its end. So, whatever goals you have set for yourself for both the ranked season and the frontier season, whether it is to enter or maintain your position in a particular league tier and enjoy some loot chests rewards, or to fight against the top players in the game for a chance to enter the top leaderboard and win massive prizes, I hope you reach there easily and within the reset time limit. But while battling in the bloody arena, don't forget to keep an eye on the battle energy bar as well, and maintain a balanced approach throughout the season to maximise your earning potential.

Now, talking about myself, I am, as usual, playing the Frontier mode on a regular basis and protecting my usual spot at the goal league. Right now, I am playing at the highest Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,260 and having almost 9 days in hand, I am just trying to reach 4,000 trophies this time and saving myself from the stress. Now, taking a look at the weekly raffle, where you get the rare black and gold arcane foil foundation cards, I have collected a total of 30 entries, and with another 3 days left, I will try to increase this number to 50 at least to try my luck one more time.

As I have shared in my previous posts, I have already won 2 such rare gold arcane foil cards from the raffle, so I even play more actively and try my luck every season with a decent number of lottery tickets. Let’s now see what it turns out to be this time. Anyway, today I spent a few pennies to buy 2 mission CC for the foundation edition card named Lunaki Howler. It is one of the missing epic cards that I need in my deck, and gladly, with it, there remains another epic card less to upgrade. Anyways, I have bought these 2 CC cards for 59.075 DEC only and used the same monstermarket.io third-party marketplace website to make the purchase, because of the instant DEC cash-back, of course.

Luckiest Longshot

Now, moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today, I am about to discuss another Conclave Arcana monster with you all. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Luckiest Longshot. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this monster, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.

The Luckiest Longshot is a monster type card, which was first introduced in the game with the launch of the latest conclave arcana edition core card-set. This monster belongs to the Neutral element, and it comes from the Gnome bloodline. This monster costs a whopping 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can ideally use this card when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The rarity of this monster card is common, so you would require a total of 400 CC cards to upgrade this card to max level. This is a special monster that holds a dual attack type range and magic, along with a decent combo of health and armour at low speed, and also flaunts 4 abilities at its max level, which I will talk about later in this post. Let us now take a deeper look and find the league wise stats and abilities below to find more about this monster.

BRONZE

At level 3, this monster card possesses pretty decent stats that consist of 1 ranged and 1 magic attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 5 health. Apart from these powerful stats, it also gets 2 abilities since its initial level, called the brand new Stray Shot and Scattershot ability. The stray shot is a bit tricky and needs special care.

STRAY SHOT - Whenever this unit attacks with a ranged attack, a random unit on its team takes 2 true damage.

SCATTERSHOT - Magic and ranged attacks target a random enemy unit.

SILVER

When you upgrade this card further to level 5, he receives 1 ranged and 1 magic attack power at 3 speed with 1 armour and 6 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called the Shatter.

SHATTER - Successful attacks destroy the target’s armor.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded further to level 8, its stats get increased even more, and now it holds 1 ranged and 2 magic attacks at 4 speed with 1 armour and 7 health. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its increased overall stats will definitely help you in battles.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you get successful in upgrading this card to its max level of 10, it gets 1 ranged and 2 magic attack power at 4 speed with 2 armour and 7 health. Not only that, but it also gets a brand new ability at its final level called the Stun ability,

STUN - 50% chance to apply stunned for one round after a successful attack. Stunned units skip their turn and cannot retaliate.

Overall, I liked the dual Attack type of this monster first of all, which will help even more in matches with melee mayhem, opportunity or super sneak ruleset. Next, its Shatter ability is very useful to armour less your enemy monsters with just one successful blow. The Stun and Scattershot abilities together will help you to stun backline enemy cards as well. So overall, it is a great choice, I think, to use in large mana limit matches, and a must have to keep in your collection. What do you think?
