Welcome back to another exciting Splinterlands post, and I hope all of you are doing great in your lives and enjoying a wonderful time with your family and friends. For those of you who love to engage with this awesome gaming project and play on our daily free time, I guess you are working well on this amazing web3 card game and building your NFT card collection continuously like an addict. I also believe many of you are already grinding hard in this ongoing ranked season, battling and trying to climb up the ladder. Now, if we take a quick look at the ongoing ranked season timer, there are still around 11 days and 19 hours left before this season comes to an end. So, fear not, as there is still plenty of time for you to try pushing your limits, improve your ranking, and grab those lucrative reward chests or even aim for a seat in the top champion leaderboard, if you are feeling competitive enough. Just make sure to manage your battle energy meter wisely so that you can maximise your rewards throughout the whole ranked season and don't miss them when needed the most.

Another interesting update coming to the game is the upcoming Voucher release, which is set to introduce three brand new cards to Praetoria. These include a Common (Grayhammer Painsmith), a Rare (Conjurer's Hubris), and a Legendary (Lorn) card, each bringing its own unique abilities, lore, and strategic impact to the battlefield. So it will be exciting to see how these new additions affect the gameplay and meta in the coming days.

Now, if we take a look at my own progress in the game, I am currently playing in the highest Gold I league tier as usual, with a trophy count of around 2,900. Now, just like in the previous season, my main focus this season is to reach the 4,000 trophy mark first and then try pushing further to see if I can secure a spot on the leaderboard. There is still a good amount of time left in the season, so I will be trying to progress steadily without rushing too much. On the other hand, if we talk about the weekly Frontier raffle, I have currently collected a total of 18 entries. With around 4 days and 18 hours left before the raffle draw, I will try to increase this number to at least 54 entries so that I can improve my chances. Let’s see how it goes this time.

Arena Fanatic

Now moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be taking a closer look at another interesting Conclave Arcana monster card. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the Arena Fanatic. So if you are interested in knowing more about this monster, let us take a deep dive without any further delay.

The Arena Fanatic is a monster-type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of the Conclave Arcana edition card set. This monster belongs to the Neutral element and it comes from the Human bloodline. By rarity, this card is a Rare monster, so you will require a total of 115 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its maximum level. Now, if you want to use this monster in battles, you need to spend only 5 mana, which makes it quite flexible and easy to fit into a wide range of team compositions, especially in low to medium mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is Ranged, and apart from its attack, it also comes with a decent combination of armour and health that helps it stay alive on the battlefield. At its maximum level, this monster gains a single ability called Amplify, which I will explain below. Let us now take a closer look at its league-wise stats and abilities below to know more about this monster.

BRONZE

At level 2, this monster holds basic stats that consist of 1 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 2 armor and 4 health. At this stage, it does not gain any ability, but it still serves as a decent backline damage dealer in low mana matches.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster further to level 4, its stats improve slightly and it now possesses 1 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 3 armor and 5 health. Even though it still does not unlock any abilities at this level, the increased survivability in the form of armour and health helps it stay longer in battle.

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 6, its stats improve again and it now carries 2 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 3 armor and 6 health. This increase in attack power makes it more effective in dealing damage from the backline.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 8, its stats improve further and it now gets 2 ranged attack power at 2 speed with 4 armor and 6 health. At this level, it also gains an important ability called Amplify. This ability becomes very useful when your team composition includes monsters that rely on reflection or retaliation-based damage.

AMPLIFY – Increases damage of Retaliate, Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Return Fire and Thorns for all friendly units by 1.2x. Does not stack.

Last but not least, I think this monster can be quite useful in several different types of battles. First of all, it costs only 5 mana, which makes it very easy to include in different match types without disturbing your overall lineup. Next, it also comes with a decent combination of armor and health for its cost, which makes it reasonably durable. Another important aspect of this monster is its Amplify ability, which can work really well if you use it strategically with the right team composition. Overall, I think this monster can be a solid addition to your collection, especially if you like building teams around reflected damage strategies. What do you think?
