Splinterlands | Showcasing my Foundation collection & 2 Epic Upgraded to Max

Hello Splinterlands fam!

I hope you all are doing well in your lives and walking through an awesome day with your family and friends. If you are happen to be a splinterlands player like me, and love to play this amazing strategic game on regular basis, I hope you are following the same routine of chasing your daily tasks in this fame, like famishing your daily ranked season and frontier season matches, while jeeping yourself up-to-date with the tournaments and Brawls, and also on Land plots if you own any. If we take a peek at the ongoing ranked season clock, only 10 days and 22 hours left for this ongoing season to meet its end. So, if you are actively playing in this ranked season with a goal set in mind, be sure to start pushing and shoving with enough time in hand. Whether your gaol os to enter a particular league tier or to fight battles against the top player for a glorious position in the champion leaderboard, I hope you reach there quicker this time. But be sure to maintain a balance with your battle energy bar, so that you don't end up missing them when needed most.

On the other hand, if you are an active soul in splinterlands, then you must be playing the frontier mode on a daily basis as well. This new free gameplay mode in splinterlands has added a whole new level of tough competition, as more and more players are building their max decks of foundation cards. You start playing for free, play for a while and upgrade a bunch of your foundation archon and monsters. You start getting more rewards, but you also get addicted to it, then you start investing to hour strength and buy a bunch of those rare foundation cards to upgrade what’s needed. That’s that case for me, and it actually turned out well, because upgrading a few of those helped me reach and maintain my place at the Gold league, which is earning me 3 packs and 9 Raffle Entries per day with 3 daily missions, as you can see from the screenshot above. Right now, I am playing at Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 3,560, and for the upcoming weekly raffle, I have collected 9 raffle entries so far. In the last weekly raffle, I entered the lottery with a total of 51 raffle Tickets, but as usual, I haven't earned any of those sweet, rare cards.

I have also completed all 3 daily missions for today, and have earned 3 packs and 9 raffle entries. So, let’s open all these 3 foundation packs below right now, and find out if I can get any of the missing cards.

As you can see from the screenshots above, I received 1 Epic, 6 Rares, including 2 Archons, and the rest Common type cards. The Epic card that got named Lunaki Howler is a rare card to receive, so I am happy with the outcome, of course. Let’s now move forward to the main topic of this post, as today, we will check my current foundation collection below. Legendary

Now, as shown in the above image, this is my foundation, and I have all of those 7 bad boy cards upgraded to max level already. I had to invest in a few, but it was important to upgrade them all one by one, as they get max level at level 2 and also get usable with level 3 archon cards.

Epics

Looking forward to my epic rarity foundation collection, this is the weakest collection that I have in my arsenal. As you can see from the screenshot above, most of my epic cards are still at level 2 and only 1 of them, the water element Asel Alagosdil, is at max level 3. So, right now, my main goal is to upgrade all these rest cards to max level.

Rare

Looking forward to my rare rarity foundation cards now, I have successfully upgraded all my rare cards to their max levels of 4. Only the latter launched a new death element ranged card named Moros Malik, which is still at level 3, but all the rest of the 17 rare cards are at max levels and no doubt, they all serve a great role in my battles.

Common

Lastly, lets take a peek at my common cards and as shared in the screenshot above, just like the rare or legendary cards, I have also upgraded all my 18 common cards to their max levels of 4, only the later launched earth element melee attacking card named Dire Bear is still at level 4 and of course the extra jackpot edition card named Aimee, that is only at level 1.

As you can clearly see, I have upgraded all of my legendary, Rare and common cards to their max levels; only the epic cards remain to join the max club. So, when I looked in the market and found some good deals, cheap enough to upgrade some of my epic cards to max levels. So, let’s find out.

KICKING ROC

First, I bought the required 1 CC card of the Kicking Roc card. This Epic card belongs to the Earth element, and for the required 1 CC cards that will upgrade it to level 3, costed me only 0.045$ in the cards market. As usual, I used the monstermarket.io 3rd party marketplace website to make the purchase, for the sweet DEC cashbacks.

Now, to purchase this card, it cost me a total of 74.738 Dec, and for using the website, I am getting 1.794 Dec, which is not a little it you can see from the tiny purchase amount.

Anyway, quickly after buying the card, it got updated in my official game screen, and then, I immediately upgraded the card from level 2 to its max level 3, as you can see from the screenshot above. For upgrading, it gets a +1 health, which will help it to consume more or larger attacks before going down.

LADY AMARA

The next card that I upgraded is the Lady Amara and it is the Life element Magic thrower card that costs 6 mana and possesses a high amount of 7 health. I needed only 1 card and it cost me 0.072$ on the same website, which is equivalent to 117.681 Dec. As for cashback, I received 2.870 Dec in my hive-engine.

For upgrading this card from level 2 to its max level of 3, its health increases from 7 to 8. It means now it can defend against more attacks, and is effective against magic attacks as well. Apart from that, its speed also increases from 1 to 2, which means it now attacks a bit faster.
