Welcome to another Splinterlands post and I hope all of you are doing well in your lives and enjoying an energetic day with your loved ones. Now, for those of you who play this game seriously and on a daily basis, I guess that by now, all of you have already collected your season end Glint rewards and now actively started playing in this fresh new one. If we take a look at the current ranked season’s timer, we have a long 13 days in hand before this ongoing season meets its end. So, clearly, there’s plenty of time and if you start acting right now and keep playing until the end, you will have the chance to earn a high amount of rewards. I am sure most of you have already set a goal for yourselves, be it to enter a particular league tier or to fight against the top players in the game and earn a seat in the champion top leaderboard. With enough time in hand, it would be wise to maintain a healthy battle energy bar throughout the season and a good win rate while pushing your trophy count and slowly shoving towards your goals. So, all the best, my fellow warriors and ai hope you reach your goals quickly this time.

Now, talking about myself, I am, as usual, playing the frontier mode on a daily basis and even today, I have already finished playing and completed all 3 daily missions. Not to mention, I have also claimed all the rewards for today’s frontier missions and got myself 3 foundation packs and 9 raffle entries, and have already opened the packs to book the cards. If you haven't familiarised yourself with this newest gameplay mode yet, let me spark your interest by telling you that this mode is completely free to play and doesn't require investing anything into any cards or other assets to start playing this mode. But as you progress in the game and start earning foundation cards or packs, you can sell them for DEC tokens and earn real money, I mean, how cool is that! Anyway, talking about my progress, right now I am playing in the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of 2,860, and till now, I have earned a total of 24 raffle entries so far in this frontier season. Having another 13 days in hand, I will try to gather at least 25 to 30 more e tries before the frontier season ends. Let's see if my luck finally shines this season and I get something from the raffle.

Now, moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another awesome Conclave Arcana monster with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing about the Shadowfey Sheik. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this monster, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
The Shadowfey Sheik is a monster type card that was first seen in splinterlands with the launch of the Conclave Arcana core cardset. This monster belongs to the Death element and it comes from the Djinn bloodline. In order to use this monster in battles, you would need to spend 6 mana, so you can choose this monster when playing medium to high mana limit matches. The rarity of this monster card is Rare; you would need a total of 115 CC cards to upgrade it to max level. The attack type of this monster is magic and apart from a good attack power, it also carries a high amount of health at decent speed with 4 abilities at its max level, which I will talk about to talk later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities below to know more about this card.

At level 2, this monster card possesses pretty decent stats, which consist of 2 magic attack power at 2 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also gets 2 awesome abilities called Flying and Life Leech since its initial level. A high health bar with flying ability ready increases the chance to evade melee and enemy attacks and on top of it, the life leech ability will keep increasing its health as the match continues.

FLYING - +25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effects if the attacker also has flying. Immune to Earthquake.

LIFE LEECH - Increases health and max health by 50% of damage dealt (rounded up).
When this monster reaches level 4, its speed gets a little increment and now it carries 2 magic attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called Painforge, which will increase its attack power if it gets hit by poison or burning abilities.

PAINFORGE - +1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning or hit by an ally.
As this monster gets upgraded further to level 6, its health receives an increment and now it holds 2 magic attack power at 3 speed with 7 health, along with those 3 abilities that I mentioned above. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its buffed-up stats feel overpowered, looking at its overall stats.
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 8, it possesses further enhanced stats of 3 magic attack power at 3 speed, with 8 health. Gladly, it does receive a new ability at its max level called Affliction, which, upon application, will cause enemy monsters to be healed.

AFFLICTION - 50% chance to apply Afflicted after a successful attack. Afflicted units cannot be healed.
Last but not least, I think this monster gives good returns on its mana cost and if you are a magic attack lover, you must have this card, mainly because of its defensive stats and powerful abilities, especially the Flying, Life Leech and Affliction. I think this monster deserves a place in your arsenal if you want to be competitive. What do you think?
