Welcome to another splinterlands post and I hope all of you are doing well in life and enjoying the day with your loved ones. Now, for my fellow splinterlands players, I guess you all are focusing on the game right now and trying your best to climb up that trophy ladder in the ranked format. Because, taking a peek at the ongoing ranked season clock, we only have around 6 days in hand, so there’s not much time left before the season end bloodbath, and if you want to avoid to play during that time, I would suggest to pour all your strength into the arena and achieve whatever goal you have set for yourself in this season. On the other hand, the special voucher promo card, Tasoshi Drakamoto sale, is about to end in around the next 5 hours, so those of you who want to get this card should act quickly and buy this awesome monster card in the official shop.
Now, let’s take a look at my own performance in the game, and as I shared in my previous posts, I have invested myself fully in the Frontier mode. I am actively playing this newest free-to-play mode on a daily basis and have been collecting rewards and building my card collection. The last frontier raffle just ended yesterday and sadly, even after collecting a total of 49 frontier entries in the last raffle, my luck didn't shine enough to get me anything in the raffle. So far, I have participated in a total of 6 raffle draws but haven't won anything from the prize pool. Anyway, let me continue playing and wish the best for this and all upcoming raffles. Anyway, in the last frontier season, I managed to reach Gold II league tier for the first time and got rewarded with 10 Major and 5 Ultimate reward chests. Let me show the outcome below.
As you can see from the screenshot above, I have got some food rewards which include 12 battle energies, 3 common and 2 rare cards, including 1 archon, along with a bunch of legendary and alchemy potions. Not only that, since I reached and am playing in the Gold league, I am getting 1 Frontier booster pack for completing every daily reward mission, which of course boosts my card accumulation speed and gladly, I have already upgraded many of my foundation cards, including 3 archons, which are helping me really well in the battlefield.
Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing the Sacrosanct Shanker. So, if you want to know more about this ferocious monster, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
The Sacrosanct Shanker is a monster type card that was introduced in splinterlands with the launch of the latest CA edition cards. This monster belongs to the Earth element and it comes from the Elf bloodline. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so you will need a total of 115 BCX cards to upgrade this monster to its maximum level. This monster costs only 4 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily fit this card in your lineup when playing small to medium mana limit matches, or the ones with Little League ruleset. The attack type of this monster is melee, and apart from possessing a big attack power, this monster also features a large armour + health combo, along with a decent speed and 3 abilities at its max level, which I will talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise stats and abilities to find out more.
At level 2, this monster card possesses 1 melee attack power at 3 speed with 3 armour and 4 health. Apart from these juicy stats that make it a good choice to be used as a front defence, it also gets the Cripple ability from level 2 onwards, which will help you decrease the max health of enemy monsters.
CRIPPLE
- -1 to target’s max health after each successful attack. Does not affect units with the Immunity ability.
When this monster gets upgraded to level 4, its health stat gets a good upgrade, while the other stats remain the same as its previous league level. At level 4, it receives 1 melee attack power at 3 speed with 3 armour and 5 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability at this level called Rebirth, which will resurrect this card once and help you maintain the same level of destruction.
Rebirth
- Self-resurrects once per battle with 1 health and 100% armour. All magic debuffs are removed, and all magic buffs are reapplied. Skips turn.
As you upgrade this monster further to level 6, it gets further increased stats of 2 melee attack at 4 speed with 4 armour and 6 health. Looking at its increased stats, the main advantage that it receives here is, of course, its attack power from level 5 onwards, but sadly, it does not gain any new abilities at this level.
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its max level of 8, it possesses a whopping 3 melee attack power at 4 speed with 4 armour and 7 health. Not only that, but it also receives a brand new ability at its max level called Divine Shield, with which it will protect itself from the first enemy attack.
DIVINE SHIELD
- Ignores all damage once, after which the Divine Shield is destroyed.
Sending you Ecency curation votes.😉

Thank you for visiting and for the awesome support! ❤️

I only use it at the front when I have no choice as it does so little damage at newbie levels.
Yes its attack power is only 1 until it reaches gold league. But respecting its mana cost and other features, I think it’s well balanced. However in medium or large mana limit matches, using it wont do any good tbh.
