Hello my fellow Splinterlands Warriors,

Welcome back to another solid & juicy Splinterlands post, guys, and I hope you are all doing great and enjoying another peaceful day with your family and friends while eagerly waiting for the upcoming weekend. If we take a quick look, the current ranked season still has around 11 days and 1 hour remaining, so there is still plenty of time to continue grinding battles and work toward those trophy goals. I hope all of you are working hard and climbing the trophy ladder towards your goal while collecting plenty of rewards along the way. Now, whether you are trying to reach a particular league tier and increase your season rewards, or make a continuous push for a seat in the top champion leaderboard, I wish all of you the very best for the remaining days of the season.

Now, talking about my own progress in the Frontier mode, I am currently battling in the highest Gold I league with 3,040 trophies. As usual, my first objective is to reach the 4,200 trophy milestone, and after reaching that point, if there's enough energy and time left, I will try to make another push toward the leaderboard. Looking at the weekly raffle progress, I currently have 27 raffle entries collected. There are around 3 days and 23 hours remaining before the raffle ends, and my target this time is somewhere between 54 and 57 entries.

Today's Frontier Daily Wheel was a little more interesting, as I received a Pit Challenge along with 200 Sparks and another 50 bonus Sparks. Unfortunately, I could not defeat the hardest boss level in the challenge this time, which brings my total Sparks balance to 28,123. Hopefully, the next challenge will be a little kinder to me and I can collect some more valuable rewards along the way. Anyways, to better my mood, God sent me a nice gift, and I finally got the missing reward card from one of the reward claims today, the King Erinaz Twincleaver from Life Element, as you can see in the screenshot above.

Apart from that, today I also opened 6 Foundation Packs that I earned from the last two days' rewards. I managed to pull 1 Legendary, 1 Epic, and 6 Rare cards, including 2 Archons. I also received 1 Gold Foil Common card, while the remaining cards were regular Common cards. Overall, it was another decent pack opening with a Legendary and an Epic included.

Phlegmor

Now moving on to today's featured monster, let us take a closer look at another interesting monster from the newest Reward card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today we will be discussing Phlegmor. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this little Sneak monster, then let's take a deep dive without any further ado.

The Phlegmor is a monster type card that was first seen in splinterlands with the launch of the latest reward edition card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and comes from the Divine Construct bloodline. It is classified as a Common monster card and costs only 4 mana to deploy, which makes it a useful choice for low to medium-mana limited matches, or the ones with little leagues ruleset. Phlegmor uses Melee attacks and you may combine its Sneak ability with several other useful support abilities from teammates. At maximum level, this monster possesses three different abilities, allowing it to attack the enemy backline while also increasing the Health and Armor of your entire allied lineup. Let us now take a closer look at its stats and abilities across different leagues to know more about this monster.

BRONZE

At Level 3, Phlegmor possesses a decent stats combo, which consists of 1 Melee attack, 2 Speed, 1 Armor, and 4 Health. Even at its initial level, it already gains its first ability called SNEAK.

SNEAK – Targets the enemy unit in the last position.

SILVER

At Level 5, Phlegmor improves its overall stats to 2 Melee attack while maintaining 2 Speed and 1 Armor, with 3 Health. At this level, it unlocks another useful support ability called STRENGTHEN.

STRENGTHEN – Gives +1 maximum Health to all allied units.

GOLD

At Level 8, Phlegmor maintains 2 Melee attack while its Speed increases to 3 and its Health rises to 6. Although it does not gain a new ability at this stage, the additional Health and Speed make it more useful and durable.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

At Level 10, Phlegmor reaches its maximum form with 2 Melee attack, 3 Speed, and 7 Health. At maximum level, it unlocks its final ability called PROTECT.

PROTECT – Gives +2 Armor to all allied units.

I think Phlegmor is a very useful low-mana monster because it offers both offensive and defensive value for just 4 mana. First of all, getting a Sneak attacker with decent Health, Armor, Speed, and Melee attack power at such a low mana cost is already a great deal. The Sneak ability allows Phlegmor to target the enemy monster in the last position, making it useful for putting pressure on the opponent's backline. You can also combine it with one or two other Sneak or Opportunity monsters to focus your attacks on vulnerable enemy units and eliminate them faster. Then comes Strengthen, which gives +1 maximum Health to every allied unit. This provides a useful defensive boost to the entire lineup and can make your monsters slightly harder to eliminate. Finally, at maximum level, Phlegmor gains Protect, which gives +2 Armor to all allied units. This is a significant defensive improvement, especially against enemy Melee and Ranged attackers whose attacks normally have to break through Armor first.

Overall, I believe Phlegmor provides a surprising amount of value for only 4 mana. It may be a small monster, but between its Sneak attack and its two ally defensive abilities, it can contribute in several different ways depending on how you build your lineup.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about PHLEGMOR. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
