Hello Splinterlands fam!

Welcome to another Splinterlands post and I guess all of you are doing well in your lives and spending a cheerful day with your loved ones while waiting for the upcoming weekend. If you are a splinterlands player just like me, then you must be making plans for the weekend, as we have just recently finished playing a ranked season and the new one has started just days ago. If we take a look at the current ranked season’s timer, there are still around 10 days in our hands before the season meets its end, so plenty of time to fight in the battle arena and earn the fame you seek. I hope all of you have already set a goal for yourselves for this ongoing season and started fighting for it. But remember, whatever goal you have set, whether it is to enter a certain league tier and claim some shiny reward chests or to compete against the top player in the champion leaderboard to secure a seat and be rewarded with the big DEC rewards, as we have still a lot of time in hand, I would suggest to focus in your daily missions or quests as well and try to maintain your battle mana bar in a healthy position throughout the season. All the best guys, and I hope you reach your goals easily this time and sooner.

Now, talking about me, if you were reading my earlier splinterlands posts, you do know that I am fully into the Frontier mode nowadays. For those who are still hiding under a rock, the Frontier mode is the newest gameplay mode added in splinterlands and unlike all the other existing modes in there, this mode is completely free-to-play and yes, you can also earn cards or packs that can be exchanged for crypto. Now, for me, I have been playing this mode for quite a while now and by now, some of my cards have even reached their max levels and most of them are just one level below max. I am currently playing at Gold I league tier with a current trophy count of 2,900 and so far, I have earned a total of 15 raffle entries for this ranked frontier season. Having another 10 days in hand, I will try to increase that raffle number to 60. Though I do know it's almost impossible with a non-max collection, I will keep trying anyway and see how far I can go this time.

Fenmoor Gorgon

Moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be talking about another powerful card from Conclave Arcana. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be discussing about the Fenmoor Gorgon. So, if you also want to know more about this card, let’s take a dive without any further ado.
The Fenmoor Gorgon is a monster type card that was first seen in splinterlands with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana core card set. This monster comes from the Death element and it belongs to the Saurian bloodline. By rarity, it is a common type card, which means you would require a total of 400 CC cards to upgrade this beast to its max level. It costs only 5 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily put this card in your lineup when playing low to medium-mana limit matches. The attack type of this card is Magic and apart from a decent attack, this monster also features a really large health bar at decent speed with 3 amazing abilities at its max level, which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league-wise stats and abilities to find out more.

BRONZE

At level 3, this monster card possesses decent stats of 2 magic attack power at 2 speed, with 4 health. Not only that, but it also gets an ability called - Demoralised from this level onwards. This ability will help you weaken enemy melee monsters’ attack powers.

DEMORALISED - -1 melee power to all enemy units.

SILVER

As this mobster gets upgraded to level 5, its stats health gets increased a bit and it gets 2 magic attacks at 2 speed with 5 health. Apart from that, it also receives a new ability at this level called Cripple, which will reduce the enemy monsters’ health after they get hit by this monster.

CRIPPLE - -1 to target’s max health after each successful attack. Does not affect units with immunity.

GOLD

When you upgrade this mobster further to level 8, it receives even larger health and now holds 2 magic attack power at 2 speed with 8 health, along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above. Though it does not get any new abilities at this level, its increased health bar will be enough to use this monster even as a front defence.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade your mobster to max its max level of 10, then it receives the same 2 magic attack power at 2 speed but with increased 9 health. However, it does receive a new ability at this level, called Execute.

EXECUTE - If the target has 2 or less health after a successful attack, perform another attack against the same unit.

Last but not least, if you are a fan of magic based strategies, then this monster should be available in your collection. Costing only 5 mana, this monster is very useful to be used in a large mana range of matches and on top of that, its huge health bar enables it to be used as a defence. While its Demoralise ability makes it an anti-melee card, its other abilities are also super useful. So, what do you think about this monster?

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about the FENMOOR GORGON. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
