ROI Analysis: Is it worth investing in Arcane cards to maximize SPS farming? [ES-EN]

Una de las cosas que debemos tener en cuenta al momento de sumergirnos en el ecosistema de “Splinterlands” es la forma en como gestionamos nuestros activos, al fin y al cabo, a pesar de que esto es un juego, la realidad es que debemos calcular nuestras inversiones, analizar el ROI, pero, algo interesante que he visto es la forma de invertir en las cartas del tipo “Arcane”, de hecho, son de las mas valiosas que existen en el juego ahora, es por eso que quiero explorar si vale la pena invertir en ellas.
Y es eso lo que hare en esta publicación, explorar y/o analizar si vale realmente la pena invertir en este tipo de cartas llamadas “Arcane”, las cuales tienen varias funciones, pero una de las que mas me interesan es la producción del SPS ganando batallas y usándolas, por lo que en este post iré paso a paso explicando estas cartas y determinar con la información si podemos pensar en ellas como una máquina de imprimir SPS o si por el contrario no lo es.
Con esto claro, entonces a continuación comentare todas las razones posibles que existen para pensar que estas cartas realmente nos pueden traer muy buenas ganancias, así que, vamos con el análisis y veamos que nos puede traer:
¿Qué son las cartas Arcane y por qué son especiales?
Ok, como todos sabemos las cartas en Splinterlands se dividen por ediciones, que a su vez forman varios SETS y finalmente se dividen en rarezas, pues sabiendo esto, las cartas “Arcane” también vienen por rarezas y pertenecen a la edición mas reciente introducida en el juego que es “Conclave Arcana”, sin embargo, esto no es lo único, ya que estas cartas presentan variables de rareza “Ultra Rara”, por lo que, todo esto viene con beneficios para nosotros los jugadores que estamos compitiendo en el campo de batalla día a día por ellas, eso quiere decir que funcionan como “Multiplicadores de Recompensas”.
Así que, para que me entiendan mejor, esto es son algunos de beneficios mas importantes, ya que no solo impactan en la jugabilidad, sino también en la economía del juego:
Multiplicadores de “Rshares”: En este punto la mayoría debe de saber que estas cartas nos ayudan a multiplicar uno de los factores que nos permiten ganar mas o menos SPS por batalla ganada, por lo que al usarlas en las batallas clasificatorias obtenemos una bonificación significativamente mayor cada vez que ganamos y es mayor debido a lo raras que son.
Relación con el SPS: Como es obvio, los tokens de gobernanza SPS se distribuyen de acuerdo con el total de Rshares que acumulamos gracias a estas cartas, por lo que, esto se traduce en algo sencillo, mientras mas cartas “Arcane” tengamos en el campo de batalla y ganemos mas SPS recibiremos, así de sencillo.
¿Cómo esto impacta el farmeo de SPS?
El token SPS no solo es el token de gobernanza del juego, también es el que recibimos por batalla ganada en muchos de los modos de juegos existentes, eso quiere decir que también funcionan como la recompensa directa que tenemos los jugadores por jugar, así que, basándonos en esto, el impacto de estas cartas en el farmeo del SPS es el siguiente:
Aceleración de ganancias: Si nosotros tenemos una alienación por estándar por llamarla de alguna manera, estos nos darán una base de SPS, sin embargo, si posemos en su lugar las variantes de cartas “Arcane” en compañía de las de “Lamina Dorada o Lamina Negra”, creamos un potente ciclo de acumulación de tokens SPS superior al promedio, de hecho, me atrevería a decir que esta sería la combinación de cartas que mas ganancias nos puede traer en el juego sin ninguna duda.
Escalabilidad con el Staking: Ahora bien, no solo podremos potenciar lo que ganamos por batalla ganada con estas cartas, sino que podemos generar a su vez un poder de voto en la gobernanza que nos ayudará a encaminar el juego en la dirección que toso queremos y mejor aún, mientras más SPS tengas, mayor será el multiplicador de recompensas, así que poco a poco esto creará un efecto de bola de nieve en la que mientras pase el tiempo ganaremos mas SPS cada vez que ganemos una batalla.
Análisis de “Costo vs Beneficio” (ROI)
Ahora bien, para observar si de verdad esto vale la pena, debemos enfocarnos en las dos caras de la moneda. Para que me entiendan mejor, no se preocupen lo explicare de forma más clara a continuación:
El costo (Inversión inicial)
Escasez Programada: Estas cartas son variantes de una edición que se encuentra aun activa que es “Conclave Arcana”, esto quiere decir que su precio en el mercado suele ser mayor que el resto, o el promedio de cartas del tipo estándar, me refiero al resto de rarezas, aunque esto debería de funcionar de otra manera, pero, así es que funciona en “Splinterlands”, por lo que, la inversión en este caso no es poca, de hecho, incluso si nos enfocamos en niveles inferiores de “Liga”, para un jugar promedio (Como yo), sería bastante dinero.
El costo de mejora: Ahora debemos tener en cuenta otra cosa y es el coste de mejora que es lo que nos ayudara a mejorar nuestras recompensas con el tiempo, lo que quiero decir con esto es que, para ganar más SPS, debemos subir estas cartas de nivel, por lo que necesitaremos varias copias para eso, lo que incrementaría una posible inversión inicial, aunque depende de los objetivos que tengan los jugadores.
El Beneficio (Retorno)
Utilidad en tierras “Lands”: Estas cartas no solo funcionan como multiplicadores en el juego clasificado, sino que tienen una muy buena utilidad en la expansión de la tierra, ya que podríamos decir que estas cartas poseen la segunda mayor puntuación en puntos de producción PP de las tierras, que son lo que nos permite extraer los recursos para construir nuestro imperio en “Praetoria”.
La eficiencia del tiempo: Como son cartas que multiplican las ganancias, para los que tenemos poco tiempo en las pantallas, serian las cartas ideales para jugar, ya que podríamos ganar muy buenas cantidades jugando las batallas diarias que nos corresponden.
Consideraciones Finales
Como recomendaciones finales para todos aquellos que leyeron hasta aquí, tengo 2 cosas que resaltar y que deben tomar en cuenta si es que desean explorar esta posibilidad:
La inversión inicial es cara, no es nada económica, sin embargo, para podría ser una de las inversiones de menor riesgo ahora mismo en el juego, ya que las cartas son tan limitadas que, su valor en el tiempo lo que podría hacer es crecer, así que, deben tomar en cuenta en que posición están ustedes, sino tienen mucho capital no lo recomiendo, hay muchas otras formas para rentabilizar los capitales menores.
Por otro lado, y lo que es una realidad, es que estas cartas disminuyen significativamente el tiempo en el que puedes recuperar tu inversión y solo sacar ganancias, todo esto debido a su factor multiplicador.

After all, even though this is a game, the reality is that we must calculate our investments and analyze the ROI. However, something interesting I have noticed is how to invest in Arcane cards. In fact, they are among the most valuable cards in the game right now, which is why I want to explore whether it is worth investing in them.
And that's what I'll do in this post: explore and/or analyze whether it's really worth investing in these types of cards called "Arcane," which have several functions, but one of the ones that interests me most is the production of SPS by winning battles and using them. So, in this post, I will go step by step explaining these cards and determining with the information whether we can think of them as an SPS printing machine or if, on the contrary, they are not.
With that clear, I will now discuss all the possible reasons for believing that these cards can really bring us very good profits, so let's get on with the analysis and see what it can bring us:
What are Arcane cards and why are they special?
Okay, as we all know, cards in Splinterlands are divided into editions, which in turn form various SETS and are finally divided into rarities. Knowing this, "Arcane" cards also come in rarities and belong to the most recent edition introduced in the game, which is "Arcane Conclave." However, this is not the only thing, as these cards have "Ultra Rare" rarity variables, so all of this comes with benefits for us players who are competing on the battlefield every day for them. This means that they function as "Reward Multipliers."
So, to help you understand better, here are some of the most important benefits, as they not only impact gameplay but also the game's economy:
Rshares multipliers: At this point, most of you should know that these cards help us multiply one of the factors that allow us to earn more or less SPS per battle won, so when we use them in ranked battles, we get a significantly higher bonus each time we win, and it is higher because of how rare they are.
Relationship with the SPS: Obviously, SPS governance tokens are distributed according to the total Rshares we accumulate thanks to these cards, so this translates into something simple: the more "Arcane" cards we have on the battlefield, the more SPS we will receive. It's that simple.
How does this impact SPS farming?
The SPS token is not only the game's governance token, it is also the token we receive for each battle won in many of the existing game modes. This means that they also function as a direct reward for players for playing. Based on this, the impact of these cards on SPS farming is as follows:
Acceleration of earnings: If we have standard alienation, so to speak, these will give us an SPS base. However, if we replace them with the "Arcane" card variants along with the "Golden Foil or Black Foil" variants, we create a powerful cycle of above-average SPS token accumulation. In fact, I would dare to say that this would undoubtedly be the combination of cards that could bring us the most gains in the game.
Scalability with Staking: Now, not only can we increase what we earn per battle won with these cards, but we can also generate voting power in governance that will help us steer the game in the direction we all want. Even better, the more SPS you have, the greater the reward multiplier will be, so little by little this will create a snowball effect in which, as time goes by, we will earn more SPS every time we win a battle.
Cost vs. Benefit Analysis (ROI)
Now, to see if this is really worthwhile, we need to look at both sides of the coin. To help you understand better, don't worry, I'll explain it more clearly below:
The cost (initial investment)
Planned Shortage: These cards are variants of an edition that is still active, called "Conclave Arcana." This means that their market price is usually higher than the rest, or the average price of standard cards. I am referring to the rest of the rarities, although this should work differently, but that is how it works in "Splinterlands." Therefore, the investment in this case is not small. In fact, even if we focus on lower "League" levels, for an average player (like me), it would be quite a lot of money.
The cost of improvement: Now we must take another factor into account, which is the cost of upgrading, which will help us improve our rewards over time. What I mean by this is that, in order to earn more SPS, we must upgrade these cards, so we will need several copies to do so, which would increase the initial investment, although this depends on the players' objectives.
The Benefit (Return)
Usefulness in lands: These cards not only function as multipliers in ranked play, but they are also very useful in expanding your land, as we could say that these cards have the second highest production point (PP) score of all lands, which is what allows us to extract the resources to build our empire in "Praetoria."
Time efficiency: Since these cards multiply your winnings, for those of us who don't have much time to spend on screens, they would be the ideal cards to play, as we could win very good amounts by playing our daily battles.
Final Thoughts
As final recommendations for all those who have read this far, I have two things to highlight that you should take into account if you wish to explore this possibility:
The initial investment is expensive, it's not cheap at all, but it could be one of the lowest-risk investments in the game right now, since the cards are so limited that their value could increase over time. So, you have to consider your position. If you don't have a lot of capital, I don't recommend it. There are many other ways to make a return on smaller amounts of capital.
On the other hand, and this is a reality, these cards significantly reduce the time it takes to recoup your investment and start making a profit, all thanks to their multiplier factor.
