SPLINTERLANDS SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE: PERFECT CREATURES / DESAFIO DE MÍDIAS SOCIAIS DE SPLINTERLANDS: CRIATURAS PERFEITAS (EN/PT)

Hello Splinter family! When the game is good, whether we like it or not, we bring a bit of it into our daily lives. Talking about Splinterlands, its cards, abilities, combinations, and even the defeats we've suffered has become one of my daily topics. When I'm in doubt, I always turn to my friends at #Hivebr.

Out of nowhere, a relatively crazy topic came up in a Discord group: perfect Splinterlands creatures. Each person mentioned one or two names, and it was difficult to choose a creature that stood out from the rest. We started establishing criteria to try to select the perfect creature for everyone. Unfortunately, some of players stopped playing, and this criterion was used until the editions preceding Conclave Arcana. Note: I'm the only Brazilian in the group.

What would be a perfect creature in Splinterlands? In my opinion, it's a creature that, at the height of its abilities, is capable of positively influencing combat. It possesses its own synergy and doesn't need other cards to reach its potential. It alone can guarantee victory in some battles.

Three points were established for the selection: it can't be a legendary creature; it's not just a matter of choosing, it must justify the reason for the choice; and it must cite two options in the Modern format. It wasn't a quick process; some gave their opinions almost 24 hours after the discussion began, but the final result was quite interesting. Two rare cards stood out among all the common, rare, and epic cards: WARBORN SHAMAN and COMMANDER SLAVE. For most of those who mentioned them, some were convinced and changed their votes; these are cards that can guarantee victory simply by their presence on the field. Combined, they are practically the embodiment of victory.

A mage with a mana cost of 10 that can be used in two different decks: WATER and DEATH. At its maximum level, its stats are: 3 magic attack, 4 armor, 8 health, and 3 agility. Its abilities make this creature a killing machine with defensive characteristics: VOID ARMOR (magic damage attacks armor before attacking health), IMPEDE (slows the speed of enemy monsters that receive its attack), AMBUSH (Gains an extra turn after the first round of battle, a double attack that can finish off an enemy monster), POISON (50% chance to poison opponents with each attack), and HEAL (restores 1/3 of its own health each turn). Some cite its 10-mana cost as a drawback, but it's so powerful that if the cost were lower, it would be legendary.

Cited as the perfect tank, this 10-mana machine boasts incredible stats: 5 physical attack damage, 7 armor, 10 health, and 6 agility. It's hard to find creatures with such agility; it usually starts combat by striking first. Its abilities: ENFEEBLE (decreases the attack of melee targets it attacks by 1, and in addition to attacking first, it also weakens the enemy melee target), DODGE (25% evasion chance for physical attacks, a very powerful defensive ability), DEFLECT (does not take damage from Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Thor's, Return Fire, or Blast Splash damage, another defensive ability that keeps it strong and steady on the battlefield), and BACKFIRE (which no enemy unit misses, dealing 2 physical damage to them). A complete creature for all occasions, I believe its only drawback is also our luck: its mana cost of 10.

The selection process took a while; there were other big names, ARACHNE WEAVEN and OLIVIA OF THE BROOK received many votes, along with other powerful cards.

Olá, família Splinter! Quando o jogo é bom, gostemos ou não, trazemos um pouco dele para o nosso dia a dia. Falar sobre Splinterlands, suas cartas, habilidades, combinações e até mesmo as derrotas que sofremos se tornou um dos meus tópicos diários. Quando estou em dúvida, sempre recorro aos meus amigos da #Hivebr.

Do nada, surgiu um tópico relativamente louco em um grupo do Discord: criaturas perfeitas de Splinterlands. Cada pessoa mencionou um ou dois nomes, e foi difícil escolher uma criatura que se destacasse das demais. Começamos a estabelecer critérios para tentar selecionar a criatura perfeita para todos. Infelizmente, alguns jogadores pararam de jogar, e esse critério foi usado até as edições anteriores ao Conclave Arcana. Observação: Sou o único brasileiro no grupo.

O que seria uma criatura perfeita em Splinterlands? Na minha opinião, é uma criatura que, no auge de suas habilidades, é capaz de influenciar positivamente o combate. Possui sinergia própria e não precisa de outras cartas para atingir seu potencial. Ela sozinha pode garantir a vitória em algumas batalhas.

Três pontos foram estabelecidos para a seleção: não pode ser uma criatura lendária; não é apenas uma questão de escolha, deve justificar o motivo da escolha; e deve citar duas opções no formato Moderno. Não foi um processo rápido; alguns deram suas opiniões quase 24 horas após o início da discussão, mas o resultado final foi bastante interessante. Duas cartas raras se destacaram entre todas as cartas comuns, raras e épicas: Xamã Guerreiro e Comandante Escravo. Para a maioria dos que as mencionaram, alguns se convenceram e mudaram seus votos; essas são cartas que podem garantir a vitória simplesmente por sua presença em campo. Combinadas, elas são praticamente a personificação da vitória.

Um mago com custo de mana 10 que pode ser usado em dois decks diferentes: ÁGUA e MORTE. Em seu nível máximo, seus atributos são: 3 de ataque mágico, 4 de armadura, 8 de vida e 3 de agilidade. Suas habilidades fazem desta criatura uma máquina de matar com características defensivas: ARMADURA DO VAZIO (o dano mágico ataca a armadura antes de atacar a vida), IMPEDIR (reduz a velocidade dos monstros inimigos que recebem seu ataque), EMBOSCADA (ganha um turno extra após a primeira rodada de batalha, um ataque duplo que pode acabar com um monstro inimigo), VENENO (50% de chance de envenenar oponentes a cada ataque) e CURA (restaura 1/3 de sua própria vida a cada turno). Alguns citam seu custo de 10 de mana como uma desvantagem, mas ele é tão poderoso que, se o custo fosse menor, seria lendário.

Citado como o tanque perfeito, esta máquina de 10 de mana ostenta atributos incríveis: 5 de dano de ataque físico, 7 de armadura, 10 de vida e 6 de agilidade. É difícil encontrar criaturas com tamanha agilidade; geralmente, ela começa o combate atacando primeiro. Suas habilidades: ENFRAQUECER (diminui o ataque de alvos corpo a corpo que ataca em 1 e, além de atacar primeiro, também enfraquece o alvo corpo a corpo inimigo), ESQUIVA (chance de 25% de evasão para ataques físicos, uma habilidade defensiva muito poderosa), DEFLETIR (não sofre dano de Proteção Corrosiva, Reflexo Mágico, Fogo de Retorno de Thor ou Relâmpago Explosivo, outra habilidade defensiva que a mantém forte e estável no campo de batalha) e BACKFIRE (which no enemy unit misses, dealing 2 physical damage to them). Uma criatura completa para todas as ocasiões, acredito que sua única desvantagem também seja a nossa sorte: seu custo de mana é 10.

O processo de seleção demorou um pouco; havia outros nomes importantes, como ARACHNE WEAVEN e OLIVIA OF THE BROOK, que receberam muitos votos, além de outras cartas poderosas.
