First pit Challenge but I won the battle

What’s up everyone? I am not quite regular in Splinterlands and the reason is I am enjoying it a lot. I am just thinking why didn’t I start to play it from the earlier time and I wasted a long time to start the journey of this game. Whatever, there are always some regrets and it’s natural. At least I am not too late and started my journey.

I already reached the Gold III league in Frontier battles. I played more than thousands battles my won more than five hundred battles. I think it’s quite decent considering I started to play Splinterlands one and a half months ago. I focused more on frontier battles for the reward, and I got some cards as rewards. Everyday my Splinterlands journey starts with the spin, and in the spin, there is an option of pit challenge.

I didn’t know too much about pit challenges. I only saw one post related to it and I was curious to know more about the pit challenge. So, for the first time I got the chance to pit challenge in spin, and I grabbed the opportunity to play it. My pit challenge was against AL THE MOUNTAIN and the card was indeed powerful. It had 37 health with 6 attack power and speed was amazing, which was 5 and it’s indeed huge. I thought I would lose the challenge if I played even if I played in easy mode.

I didn’t have AURENDRAK as my Archon, but for the pit challenge, I was allowed to use it. I used it because I wanted to see what kind of ability it has. I guess it had the ability to combine the ability of another element, and it was good in my opinion, and I used earth elements to combine. I didn’t think too much as it was my first time using it.

In the first position, I used the SPELLMONGER for having 3 health and 2 armor. For an opponent who makes direct attack SPELLMONGER is very useful for the Thorns ability for it’s perfect to place in the first position against something like AL THE MOUNTAIN. And in the second place I used my favorite DREAD TAFARIAN for having decent life and especially having the ability to restore health.

BUNS THE UNSEEN is a card I wish to get, but I am yet to get the card from rewards. It’s a powerful card having 2 attack power, and here I used the card especially for having melee ability from the second position. With 8 armor and 6 health, the card deserved the position after DREAD TAFARIAN.

I like to use KHAN FEYWEST when battle allow good mana cap and here it was available with more power. 3 magic attack power and with 4 speed and other abilities made it more impressive. In the 5th position VAELOK was used and it’s a card I have but wasn’t able to use it anytime till now for not having Archon for it. 3 magic attack and it has the Life Leech with made the card interesting. I wish I could use the card in my regular battles.

And in the last position I used a card that I don’t have in my collection. But I know it’s ability quite well because I played many modern battles where my opponents used it many times against me. It was a very good one for ranged attack with other abilities and for the first time I used the card. I hope someday I will get the card.

The result was in my favor. I felt like I could choose medium-hard mode for the battle, as I won the battle effortlessly. Whatever, it’s a match where I learned about the abilities of a few cards, as I am yet to get those cards. Here is the battle link, and I recommend you watch the battle.
