Dragonlord Mancer is Incredible in Global Warming
Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! I wanted to share a recent game I played. What caught my attention was how Dragonlord Mancer dominated under the Global Warming modifier. I would think it will be the same if the modifier was Noxious Fumes or Earthquake where survival and not attacks takes precedence.
Dragonlord Mancer is arguably one of the best Archons for the Global Warming modifier because its skills directly benefit from the constant stream of deaths caused by Burning. Rather than merely surviving the modifier, Dragonlord Mancer turns it into an advantage.
The main skills are:
Corrupted Healing
Each round, restore 70% of max health (rounded down) to other allied units. Each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1.
Scavenger
+1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated.
Two units in the team will be given Corrupted Healing and will heal the team each round. It will negate the damage received from burning.
All Saurians and Bruteborn will be given Scavenger skill. All units that die will increase their health and max health.
The units summoned by Dragonlord Mancer will out survive the opponent due to these skills.
The game I played recently showed how good Dragonlord Mancer is under the Global Warming modifier. I have three units that had Scavenger and two units with Corrupted Healing that negated damaged received from burning. My opponent had some ideas for survival like using an archon that gave +1 health to the team. He had a unit that self heals and also a unit with Scavenger. That aside, they were no match against the skills granted by Dragonlord Mancer.

Conclusion
Global Warming rewards endurance and Dragonlord Mancer has the skills for exactly that. As every casualty rewards Scavenger and Corrupted Healing keeps units alive, he transforms a deadly ruleset into a winning strategy.
