Splinterlands - Blue Wyrm Travesty Card Review

Since my comeback to Hive and especially playing Splinterlands battles, I have been finding it difficult to win matches continuously because of the competition increased compared to what it used to be when I stopped playing the battles.

That made me to rethink and see where I can improve, which lead to purchase of few high effect cards from Conclave Arcana keeping in mind about the modern format and to be able to use those cards in the near future even when there is another new edition of cards are added.

So, as part of these recent cards purchase, I came up across this Water splinter monster of Blue Wyrm Travesty, which is a melee attack monster with way good attack, health and good enough speed as well.

Let's have more details on this and where I am finding it more useful.

As we can see from above statistics of this monster, it's a common water splinter card with attack ranging between 7 to 9, speed ranging between 3 to 5 and same for number of armors.

The health for this monster ranges between 10 to 12, which is very good for a monster with huge attack.

As for as it's abilities are concerned, it has slow and a new ability of invigorate.

The slow ability will be available from level 3 which needs 14 cards to be combined and the invigorate ability will be available at max level which is 10th level and getting this card to level 10 will need 400 cards to be combined because, this being a common card.

Where do i find this card more useful?

I have this level 4 monster for now as I am still in the process of buying more cards in order to stabilize my win rate in modern format. So, this level 4 card for me, gives an attack of 7 in each round and protects itself from melee attacks with 4 armors, has a good enough health of 11 for level card and speed is at 3.

This monster will be good to have it at front straightway with a tank healer such as Anasth Soothsayer to keep some health restored at the end of each round, so that, it can stay longer in the battle.

But, i do have another idea of using it like having it in Second position with a flank ability monster like Doomshield Warden at the front, so that, I can make Blue Wyrm Travesty to attack even from Second position and utilize it's huge attack of 7.

I would have to say, it's not gonna be highly effective to utilize all 7 attack if the opponent's monster has armors as this monster is not having a piercing ability.

If it gets piercing ability thru some summoner, this will be way more effective.

I always use this in one of the First or Second positions based on MANA cap available and will add magic monsters into the remaining 4 slots to take advantage of the battle with a Marlai Singariel summoner to add more magic to the magic monster I will use.

I hope you will make use of this monster if you haven't done already to utilize the huge attack, good health of this monster to place it at front or use it in Second position with a flank ability monster at the front.

This will definitely be a good one to have.
