I have wanted to talk about this great card for a long time, however, I had not had the time to do it, but, the time has come, since "Olivia of the Brook", is one of the best cards in the game, the impressive thing is that it belongs to the rewards edition of the "Rebellion" edition, which, is relatively new, so, it is certainly part of the meta of the game.

In this post I intend to detail in a basic way this card, its statistics, main skills, and to which rules it fits best, so if you still do not know this card or are somewhat confused to play it correctly, you should stay until the end of this publication, this quick analysis will serve you a lot, I really like this kind of post because I can teach the newer ones about the use of the cards, although surely there will be many who already know how to play it correctly.

Splinter and Statistics

To begin with, this card belongs to the "Splinter of Life", which surprised me quite a lot when I learned this, since this last edition of "Rebellion", has empowered in an incredible way the life team, becoming one of the strongest, competing perfectly with elements such as "Earth and Death", in addition to this, I always like to highlight the design of the card, unfortunately I cannot overlook this, since it is one of the things I like the most.

So as usual and as you can see in the image above, the design of this card is very good, although it is not one of my favorites, it is unique, being a woman hunter with a kind of staff with two types of attack, one at a distance, having as options the magic attack, but also moving fast and attacking with melee with the help of her tiger, on the other hand, its finishes are great, and the card itself, referring to its illustration, I really like the tiger.

Statistics

Now for the interesting part, what makes this card special, let's see how it is composed and why it is considered one of the most powerful cards in the game:

Amount of mana: To begin with, the amount of mana needed to summon it is quite accessible, since with only 6 points it can be adapted to very existing battles and to a good number of rules.
Attack and Speed: This card has a lot of offensive power, especially since it has 2 types of attacks (melee and magic), these attacks combine perfectly to do great damage, making this card much more versatile and able to basically many situations.
Life: His life points are not very high, I would say that this is his main weakness, since at his lowest level he has 4 points and at his maximum about 6, but, if we compare this with the cost of mana that I mentioned a moment ago, it seems quite acceptable to me.

Now, one of its strongest points are its abilities and the possible rules where it can be played, so let's see what they are, this is where you will understand why this card is so special:

Opportunity: This ability is incredible, especially for this card that has 2 types of attack, for those who do not know, this ability allows you to attack the weakest monsters of the opponent in terms of life points, so, those support cards that can often make us win many battles, is in danger.
Mimic: This is for me one of the best skills of the whole game, but, it must be accompanied if possible with some defense to avoid that it can be defeated before you can activate it, basically what it does is that, after the 2nd round, there is a 25% chance, quite high if you ask me, to get a random skill from the enemy, which allows you to get any amount of skills that are allowed except some that are not allowed to copy as (Debilitations, Targeting Abilities, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge and Taunt).
Reflection Shield: As if that were not enough, this ability allows you to place an impenetrable wall against the opponent's attacks that are redirected by some special abilities that are responsible for returning the damage, when this card is placed in the correct position, you can prevent the rest of the team from receiving significant damage, while trying to copy the enemy's abilities in the course of the battle.

Hace tiempo que quería hablar sobre esta gran carta, sin embargo, no había tenido el tiempo para hacerlo, pero, ha llegado el momento, ya que “Olivia of the Brook”, es una de las mejores cartas del juego, lo impresionante es que pertenece a la edición de recompensas de la edición de “Rebellion”, la cual, es relativamente nueva, por lo que, sin duda forma parte del meta del juego.

En este post pretendo detallar de manera básica esta carta, sus estadísticas, habilidades principales, y a que reglas se ajusta mucho mejor, así que, si aun no conocen esta carta o están algo confundidos para jugarla de manera correcta, deben quedarte hasta el final de esta publicación, este análisis rápido les servirá de mucho, este tipo de post me gusta mucho porque puedo enseñar a los más nuevos sobre el uso de las cartas, aunque seguramente habrán muchos que ya la sepan jugar correctamente.

Splinter y Estadísticas

Para comenzar, esta carta pertenece al “Splinter de Vida”, lo que me sorprendió bastante al saber esto, ya que esta última edición de “Rebellion”, ha empoderado de manera increíble el equipo de vida, volviendo uno de los mas fuertes, compitiendo perfectamente con elementos como “Tierra y Muerte”, adicional a esto, siempre me gusta destacar el diseño de la carta, lamentablemente no puedo pasar por alto esto, ya que es una de las cosas que más me gustan.

Así que como es costumbre y como pueden ver en la imagen anterior, el diseño de esta carta es muy bueno, aunque no es de mis favoritos, si que es único, al ser una mujer cazadora con una especie de báculo con dos tipos de ataque, una a distancia, teniendo como opciones el ataque mágico, pero, también moverse rápido y atacar con cuerpo a cuerpo con ayuda de su tigre, por otro lado, sus acabados son geniales, y de la carta en sí, refiriéndome a su ilustración, me gusta mucho el tigre.

Estadísticas

Ahora si vamos con lo interesante, lo que hace especial esta carta, veamos como esta compuesta y porque se considera una de las más poderosas del juego:

Cantidad de mana: Para comenzar la cantidad de mana que se necesita para invocarla es bastante accesible, ya que con tan solo 6 puntos puede adecuarse a batallas muy existentes y a un buen número de reglas.
Ataque y Velocidad: Esta carta tiene mucho poder ofensivo, especialmente, ya que posee 2 tipos de ataque que son (Cuerpo a Cuerpo y mágico), estos ataques se combinan perfectamente para hacer un gran daño, haciendo esta carta mucho más versátil y capacitada para básicamente muchas situaciones.
Vida: Sus puntos de vida no son muy altos, diría que es su principal debilidad, ya que en su nivel mas bajo posee 4 puntos y en su máximo unos 6, pero, si comparamos esto con el costo de mana que mencione hace un momento, me parece bastante aceptable.

Habilidades y/o reglas

Ahora bien, uno de sus puntos mas fuertes son sus habilidades y las posibles reglas en donde se puede jugar, así que veamos cuales son, es aquí donde entenderán por esta carta es tan especial:

Opportunity: Esta habilidad es increíble, especialmente para esta carta que posee 2 tipos de ataque, para los que no los saben, esta habilidad permite atacar a los monstruos más débiles del oponente en términos de puntos de vida, por lo que, esas cartas de apoyo que muchas veces puede hacer que ganemos muchas batallas, se encuentra en peligro.
Mimic: Esta es para mi una de las mejores habilidades de todo el juego, pero, debe ir acompañada si es posible con alguna defensa para evitar que pueda ser derrotada antes de que pueda activarla, básicamente lo que hace es que, después de la 2da ronda, existen un 25% de probabilidad, bastante alta si me preguntan, de conseguir una habilidad aleatoria del enemigo, lo que le permite obtener cualquier cantidad de habilidades que se le permitan excepto algunas que no están permitidas copiar como (Debilitations, Targeting Abilities, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge y Taunt)
Reflection Shield: Por si fuera poco, esta habilidad permite colocar un muro impenetrable en contra de los ataques del oponente que son redirigidos por algunas habilidades especiales que se encargan de devolver el daño, cuando esta carta se coloca en la posición correcta, puedes evitar que el resto del equipo reciba u8n daño importante, mientras tratas de copiar las habilidades del enemigo en el transcurso de la batalla.
