Oridum Graybrow: La Leyenda Ardiente del Splinter de Fuego 🔥 [EN-ES]

Greetings SplinterLovers 💙

I hope you are very well today, as you may know, I have been creating content of the most striking female cards for me, so changing the scenario a little bit I have decided to write about the strength and beauty of the male cards we have in splinterlands, although perhaps there are not many of this type in these last 2 editions (Rebellion and Conclave Arcana), I hope to write about several, so today let's dive into the fiery charisma of one of the male characters Oridum Graybrow, the legendary Splinter of Fire card from the new edition of "Conlcave Arcana".

Although I already talked about this card in a previous post, I did it together with another legendary card of the same edition called "Inept Healer", but, I was not so specific and the truth is that each card has a story and it is worth to exploit them in detail as I have been doing lately and more because I am focusing on my particular taste for female cards and now the male ones too haha. Continuing with the theme, this card combines an impenetrable defense with deadly abilities, since its appearance, has established itself as one of the most versatile and feared options in high-level battles, thanks to its unique abilities, while my previous posts focused on our powerful ladies, now it is the turn of the knights that not only imposes respect on the battlefield, but also has an appeal that goes beyond.

In this post, we will explore its design, abilities, optimal rules, lore and its impact on the current meta. If you're looking to master the Fire Splinter or simply understand why Oridum Graybrow is such a coveted card, this post is for you.

Oridum Graybrow is not only powerful in combat, but also has a striking visual design, which is why I have chosen him again at the top of my list of male cards haha.

When we see the card for the first time, it is impossible not to be captivated by its design, it is not the classic beauty, it is a beauty of power and mystery that catches you instantly.

He wears dark, almost ceremonial attire that contrasts perfectly with the light skin of his torso, revealing reddish markings that seem to be of arcane power, or perhaps, the vestiges of past battles and sacrifices, these not only add a touch of roughness, but also tell a silent story of experience and mastery over fire.

His wide-brimmed hat reminds me of the one in the "Harry Potter" movie, with a pointed style and adorned with a golden symbol, it gives him the air of an ancient and wise knight, the look in his eyes hidden under the hat is intriguing, promising both ancient knowledge and an unbreakable will, as well as power in battle.

He holds a small dagger wreathed in flames in one hand and an ornate staff culminating in a golden tip in the other, his dynamic stance, as if he's about to cast a devastating spell or launch into combat, radiates confidence and power, plus, I think he's certainly the perfect combination of dark elegance and ferocity that the Fire Splinter deserves. For me, he's that kind of character that makes you think: "I want to know more about him", and that's a great achievement in the design of a card.

Oridum Graybrow has a mana cost of 7, is a Legendary Fire card with a Melee Attack type, and its stats and abilities make it a fundamental piece for many strategies that prioritize physical attack.

1Thorns
2Thorns + Resurgence
3Thorns + Resurgence + Piercing + Magic Reflect
4Thorns + Resurgence + Piercing + Magic Reflect + Spite
  1. Thorns - Reflected damage (Level 1): Any enemy that hits him with a physical attack receives +2 damage, ideal against teams or melee units such as "Leolin Sifu" for example, which possesses a strong attack power that particularly cannot miss.

  2. Resurgence (Level 2): If Oridum is eliminated, he revives with 100% of his HP and shield once per battle. This makes him a persistent obstacle for any strategy, so it is not easy to escape from him, although, in addition to this, this card inflicts 1 point of physical damage to all units, not to mention that he comes back with all the magical augmentations he had and removes those abilities that diminish his power..

  3. Piercing - Ignore armor (Level 3): If your attack exceeds the enemy's armor, the excess damage is passed on to life points. Perfect for breaking tanks with high armor and believe me, this card has a very good attack power capable of doing so.

  4. Magic Reflect - Magic counterattack (Level 3): Returns 50% of magic damage received directly to the enemy, a nightmare for magic attacks, so, despite being a physical attack card, it works very well in stalemates where magic cards are played.

  5. Spite - 100% effective counterattack (Level 4): When Oridum is defeated, 100% of the time it will attack back, making it an offensive weapon capable of doing a lot of damage to the enemy, not to mention that if it dies, it will return with 100% of its life and shield.

If you're looking for a versatile and powerful legendary card, Oridum Graybrow is a solid investment, especially if you plan to upgrade it to level 3 or 4. Dominate the battlefield with its combination of defense and counterattacks, and make your enemies think twice before attacking you.

Knowing when and where to deploy Oridum Graybrow is key to maximizing its potential.

Ideal Rules ✅:

  • Armored Up (+2 Armor for all): His high base shield points (6) make him almost invincible and with this rule he would be more useful, so he would increase his defense and would still be very strong in attack.

  • Equalizer (Equalizer): This rule is ideal for this card, as getting the same amount of life points as the highest card we have on our side of the field, will ensure that we are there until the last round, especially for the aforementioned abilities of Oridum.

  • Odd Ones Out (Odd card): Being a 7 mana card is ideal for use in this rule.

Rules to Avoid ❌

  • Little League (Little League): Oridum has 7 mana, which excludes him from this rule😭.

  • Super Sneak (Priority attacks to the last card in the row): If you put him behind, he may be eliminated before he can act, even if he revives, you will not take advantage of his full potential.

  • Earthquake (Earthquake): Not being a flying card makes him vulnerable to the constant damage of this rule, at the end of each round, he will receive +2 point of additional damage in his shield, although he is moderately protected, I would not play him in this rule, since his shield is key to keep him in the field.

Oridum Graybrow He rose through the ranks in an empire where obedience was key, mastering control of himself, others and fire. Thanks to this, he gained rank in the Chaos Empire and a place in the Arcane Conclave with a clear conscience.

Now he leads an expedition into the Great Lowlands, causing volcanoes to erupt and the world to burn in his wake in search of a secret. The dwarves of Grimbardun will oppose him, but Oridum is already preparing to see them burn as well.

In short, Oridum Graybrow is much more than a Splinterlands legendary card, he is a work of art like all the others, a strategic piece in battles and a character with an epic story that makes him unforgettable, his visual design, with those burning marks and his mysterious aura, makes him one of the most attractive and enigmatic male characters in the game, he is not just a handsome guy he is a fierce legendary card Grr hahaha.

Do you have a favorite card or a card that you find attractive? Let me know in the comments❤️.

Without further reference, see you next time for "Splinterlords".

Saludos SplinterLovers 💙

Habilidades (Nivel 1-4)

NivelHabilidades
1Thorns
2Thorns + Resurgence
3Thorns + Resurgence + Piercing + Magic Reflect
4Thorns + Resurgence + Piercing + Magic Reflect + Spite

Reglas a Evitar ❌

Hi! That was quick😊
So he has the resurgence, magic reflect and spite. I see now why he has low hp, the ability can compensate it. This is a monster on equalizer, super sneak and equal opportunity combat rule.
Im playing at low level cards so I cannot experience his full ability yet.
