Staying up to date in the game is part of what an investor and/or player must do on any platform and ecosystem, so in "Splinterlands" we are no exception to this, since part of the progression in the game is precisely to stay up to date, but I imagine you are wondering, what exactly do I mean by staying up to date? Well, it's very simple, since the engine or pillar of the game is the cards, so when I talk about staying up to date or at the forefront, I mean having the latest cards, especially those that belong to the "Modern Format."
That's why today I'm going to talk about my plan, which I think I've already done, but this will be a kind of update to bring you up to speed and also bring myself up to speed, since by 2026 I want to go all in on Splinterlands and try to complete the new Conclave Arcana reward deck. Before that, though, I need liquidity, that money to be able to go shopping in the store and see how to build my deck.
So, this post will cover a little bit of everything: my plan, some of the most important cards I'm selling, and how I'm going about achieving my goal. If you want to know more about all this, stick around and read to the end of this post:

My plan is not very complicated, as it basically involves "selling and buying," in that order. However, despite its simplicity, this does not mean that it is easy, since selling cards, especially older editions, takes a long time. It can take months, even years, or in the worst case, they may never sell, since these cards are not very useful at the moment, and that is why the demand for them is almost nil.
But I still have a chance, and it's about "The Lands," since these (Ancient) cards are quite sought after in plots as workers, as they have a lot of PP (Production Points), so one of the ways I can sell them would be precisely this. So, it's a matter of trying it and seeing what happens. However, so that you can see how to execute an asset rotation strategy in the game, I will prepare a step-by-step guide for a better understanding:
With this clear, the step-by-step process is as follows:
Make a list: The first thing you should do, and what I will do, is make a list of the cards you want to sell. This is essential, not only to keep everything recorded and organized, but also because, if you want to sell P2P, for example, you need a quick list that you can share. So, making a list of the cards in Splinterlands that you want to sell is the best thing to do.
List the Cards: The next thing we need to do is list the cards on the market. To do this, you need to check their prices and try to set competitive prices to sell them as quickly as possible and at a good price. However, it is important to note that some of them will need to be sold at a discount if you want to get rid of them, because if you want to sell them, you need to do so. If you set the price too high, you will definitely not sell them. To sell them, I use "Peakmonsters."
Share the list via Discord: The last step is to share our list of cards created by Discord, especially on the game's official server in the Sales channel, as many P2P transactions take place here. You may not sell them on the market, but you may find a buyer in this chat. However, you need to be very careful with whom you do transactions on Discord and Telegram, as these networks and platforms are rife with scams and identity theft.
This is how I will do things in order to sell my cards. It doesn't really take much time either; making the list is very quick, so maybe in an hour or less everything would be ready, and the next step is to list the cards. But how, or rather, in what order should you list these cards? I'll explain that in the next section, and I'll also take the opportunity to share a couple of the rarest and most powerful cards I have for sale.

There's no mystery here either, the order is very obvious, but for newbies who want to know how to do things correctly, I'll share it, so basically you need to do this for the reasons I'll explain later in this section, so pay attention:

Finally, what you can do is burn these cards for DEC. For me, this would be the last resort in extreme cases, since the burn value is usually well below their market value, but at least you get something back and can try to build a deck from there.

These are two of the cards I am selling. Both are "Legendary Gold Foil" cards, the most expensive and rare in my deck, as well as one of the most powerful editions of the old ones called "Untamed and/or Dice."

This is my plan to achieve, or rather, attempt to transition assets or items in the Splinterlands ecosystem. Although this plan may fail and I may end up auctioning off all my cards or burning them, this would be the correct step-by-step process for selling any card with the intention of building other types of decks in the game.
Of course, there are a few other details worth mentioning, but broadly speaking, that's it. I hope you liked it. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.

I just started playing this game and I see it has a lot of difficult things. I'm still struggling with the tutorial. I hope you manage to sell those cards. Good luck!

STOPInteresting to read. I try to stay competitive in Modern, but I don't sell old cards (like Chaos Legion for example). That means I have to invest constantly into Splinterlands, but I just want to keep to old cards. Maybe they will be more valuable in the future, maybe not.
I been listing some old cards for sale a5 different price points. Mainly to purchase more of the same and hopefully stack a little DEC when possible. The process is slow but my price points are not at discount rates either. Good luck with your sales and goals.
