Greetings SplinterLovers ๐Ÿ’›

Today I want to introduce you to one of my favorite cards from the "Arcana Conclave" reward set, which belongs to my favorite splinter, the powerful and majestic "Dragon." So get ready, because not only is it powerful, but its presence on the battlefield is simply spectacular.

I'm talking about Kazira Vaelstrik, an "Epic" card from the Dragon element that combines the mystical pose characteristic of Djinn with the indomitable strength of dragons. In this post, I'll tell you why you should have her in your deck, as she has some very interesting mechanics, not to mention that she can play several roles on the battlefield. But you'll see why I say that.

Beauty from Another World: The Visual Aspect

When you look at Kazira, you immediately understand why she is epic. She is not just a warrior; she is a card that conveys pure power. She is not just any card; she is also relentless on the battlefield.

Imagine this: Her armor, golden in color with crimson accents, highlights her powerful figure. It is adorned with shoulder pads that resemble dragon wings ready for combat. Her helmet is regal, crowned with horns and a central green jewel, reminding us that we are possibly in the presence of an empress or someone of nobility in the "Bloodline" of the "Djinn."

But what is most impressive are its dark, powerful wings, which give it the aura of a flying deity; and how the lower part of his body fades into a kind of mist or ethereal fire, this figure being the most common representation of a "Djinn." In addition to all this, he wields an imposing spear, ready to pierce any defense. But if you want a summary of the card that sums it all up, Kazira is the perfect combination of strength, ferocity, and an almost mystical elegance.

Abilities and Statistics

Kazira isn't just a pretty face on the battlefield; she's a tank, but at the same time a ranged support card with a cost of 10 Mana that justifies every GLINT invested in her. But what I like most is how she evolves through the different levels of power she possesses, and here's why:

Evolution of your Statistics (From Level 1 to 6) ๐Ÿ“Š

StatisticsLevel 1Level 3Level 6 (Maximum)What it means
Attack (Ranged)235Its damage scales massively, becoming stronger and stronger as it levels up.
Speed444It remains fast and consistent, which is very important for effectiveness on both offense and defense.
Shield556A golden defense that is very difficult to break, since at a certain level it increases and is not insignificant.
Life889It is a very resilient unit for a card focused on ranged attacks.

  • Flying - Level 1: This ability to fly makes it possible to dodge melee or ranged attacks from non-flying units, and it also gives you versatility on the battlefield, not only on the defensive side, but also on the offensive. This ability is overrated.

  • Immunity - Level 1: This is my favorite. Kazira is completely immune to all negative status effects in the game. Poison? Attack reduction? Armor break? None of that affects her. She always stays in top condition, no matter what the enemy plays, which is an incredible advantage.

  • Close Range - Level 3: Unlike other archers who cannot attack when they reach the front line, Kazira feels comfortable everywhere. With this ability, she can use her ranged attack even if she is in the front position, which can easily turn her into a "Tank" and also give her various roles in the game, depending on how you want to use her.

  • Last Word - Level 6: This ability is very interesting, and its effect influences not only the enemy side of the field but also our own. Basically, what it does is provide immunity to "Final Rest." In addition, enemy and ally abilities that activate after defeating a card cannot be activated, This is key because there are many of these abilities that are truly BROKEN and can abruptly change the course of battle, but with this card, we can prevent that.

Best and worst rules for Kazira Vaelstrik

These rules are both the best and worst for Kazira because her abilities protect her from dangers that destroy other monsters or enhance her combat style, so here are some options for where to play her and where not to.

Best Rules โœ…

  • Earthquake: At the end of each round, units without the "Flying" ability take 2 physical damage, and since Kazira has Flying from Level 1, she completely avoids this devastating damage, so we should definitely play her in this rule.

  • Noxious Fumes: All monsters take -2 damage because they are poisoned, but Kazira is immune to poisoning thanks to her Immunity ability, making her an epic survivor.

  • Global Warming: All units receive the "Burning" status effect at the start of combat, but thanks to its "Immunity" ability, it prevents it from being affected by these negative statuses, so we can play it without it actually being affected.

Worst Rules โŒ

  • Back to Basics: Under this rule, all units lose all their abilities. This means that Kazira loses her valuable Immunity, Flying, Close Range, and Last Word abilities, reducing her to a unit with only stats, which could work, but her real value is lost.

  • Odd Ones Out: Only units with odd mana costs can be summoned, so Kazira costs 6 mana, an even number, so you couldn't use her, or even select her.

  • Rise of the Commons: Only Rare and Common rarity units can be summoned, and since Kazira is an Epic unit, this rule leaves her on the bench.

In short, Kazira Vaelstrik is like a superhero who shines when the world is full of poison and seismic danger (Noxious Fumes and Earthquake), as her Immunity and Flying protect her while others fall. However, she is not invincible, as all her abilities disappear when, for example, "Back to Basics" is used.

Conclusion

Kazira Vaelstrik is an Epic rarity unit that offers a formidable combination of defense (Armor 5/Health 8) and crucial survival abilities (Flying and Immunity) from Level 1.

She's not just a pretty face and golden armor; she's a strategist with Immunity that negates her opponent's dirty tricks, not to mention she has more tricks up her sleeve. Plus, if you're looking for a Dragon card that's powerful, beautiful, and gives you a unique defensive/offensive advantage, Kazira Vaelstrik is your ideal winged warrior!

With nothing further to add, until next time, "Splinterlords."
