In my last post, I talked broadly about the costs associated with the âFoundationsâ set, referring to the cards themselves and what really contributes to their low price, as well as some interesting recommendations for completing decks. Of course, one of the smartest strategies you can use is to complete the campaign mode and also buy some cards, however, in that post I didnât show how much it would cost to buy some of those cards to complete the deck, since if the goal is to compete, itâs necessary to do soâotherwise, unfortunately, youâll struggle in âFrontierâ mode.
Thatâs why today Iâll show you the real cost of these cards and some challenges Iâve encountered along the wayâthings Iâve realized that youâll likely come across if you want to apply the strategy and step-by-step guide from the previous post, But if you want to know what this is all about, stick around until the end of this post so you can understand the details and make your own plans before diving in. Of course, even though I offer gameplay recommendations, the reality is that in this mode you can practically start with no investment and keep it that wayâsince if you decide to do so, itâs best to choose a different âformat,â but in another post, I might explain the differences and advantages of each format.
However, if you want to see the actual costs associated with these letters and also learn about all the details I've come across along the way, stick around until the end of this post so you can find out everything:

As I mentioned in my previous postâwhich, if you havenât read it yet, you can read in full by clicking HERE. I mentioned that the prices of these cards are very low and that this stems from certain details I also explain in that post. However, to make it much more visual, I decided to conduct the test myself and include the cards that arenât given out for free in the gameâat least to my knowledge. So, letâs see which cards these are and how much they cost, and as I go along, Iâll share a few observations with you:

As you can see in the three images, there are a total of 24 additional cards from the âFoundationsâ set, in addition to the free onesâthough BEWARE, I may have missed a card or two, but theyâre all there. On the other hand, I wonât go into detail about the price of each card, since in my last post I explained why these cards are so inexpensive compared to those in other sets. However, I should mention that these cardsâIâm referring to the 24 listed hereâhave a total cost of $13,087, payable in DEC or Credits, if Iâm not mistaken.

While it doesnât cost much to get several of these cards, I think what Iâve noticedâand this is part of what Iâll discuss in the next section of this postâis that the idea behind buying cards is for them all to be as balanced as possible, and thatâs one of the problems I see. When a deck isnât balanced in terms of the cardsâ rarities and power levels, it can undermine the performance of the deck youâre trying to build in âFoundations.â

Essentially, thereâs no problemâthe reality is that you can buy as many cards as you want, depending on whatâs available and what other users are willing to sell. However, looking at it from a more analytical perspective and considering the impact it could have on your gameplay and performance, itâs not a good idea. The reality of this set is that the following happens:

There isn't enough liquidity in the market: When I say this, I mean that there aren't enough copies of listed cards available on the market to buy and put together the deck that many people are trying to buildâsince it's one of the most affordable decks in the game, perhaps even second only to âChaos Legion.â
Level Disparity: As I mentioned earlier, this isnât good because, if you want to play seriously and climb to the top of the leagues in the âFrontierâ format, you need balance in your cards. And while this might not really matter for some cardsâsince there isnât much disparity or variation in their default abilities or statsâitâs likely to be an issue with some of the most important ones.
NOTE: If we put these two things into perspective, the performance isn't the same compared to the cards in "Rebellion, Conclave Arcana, and Escalation"âand even older editions. That's why I don't recommend doing this. In other words, if you want to invest, you're better off focusing on other editions.

This is key to progressing in the game, and itâs something new players should keep in mind. While itâs one of the most amazing ways to get started for free, leveling up means you need to improve your deckâand thatâs really tough right now. Of course, you can earn rewards by completing missions and other tasks, but if you want to take the game seriously, youâre better off with the other SETS.

Maybe you have right that it could be not enough liquidity for foundation cards especially gold foils, but you need only max them to silver level and many cards are on the market with enough bcx đ
