Splinterlands is about to change forever, as what we were promised more than four years ago, if I'm not mistaken, with the launch and sale of "PLOTS, TRACT, and REGION," is now coming to fruition. In a recent announcement by the Splinterlands team, it will soon be possible, in just a few days, it will be possible to create and/or craft cards with the resources we have obtained from our plots of land in "Praetoria."

This is incredible because it's something we've been waiting for for a long time, and finally the team has given the green light for it to happen, which makes me really happy. That's why today I've prepared a basic starter guide for all of you, so you can learn everything you need to know to write your first letters, thanks to the resources you've gathered over a long period of time on the plots of land in "Praetoria."

So, if you're ready to learn all the details, I ask that you read this post to the end, as I will try to quickly and simply summarize everything you need to know to achieve this.

The Hook: The Convergence of Praetoria

It is March 2026, and Splinterlands is no longer just a conventional card game but has become an ecosystem of creation or manufacturing, if you will, an industrial one, since with the launch of Land-Crafted Cards under the Conclave Arcana Extras set, the profitability of your plots is no longer measured only in grains or SPS, but in the ability to forge unique assets (crafted cards) that cannot be purchased in common packs, which is where we get most of the cards we need to build our decks. This means that if you are active in the land plots of "Praetoria," you will have a statistical advantage over the rest who are not.

So, to get started, I've prepared this guide to transform your Production Power (PP) into a tool for creating units or warriors at your disposal to fight, not to mention that these units can be so valuable depending on various factors, so let's go through the step-by-step process so that everything is clear and you can get started as quickly as possible.

Step-by-Step Guide to Preparation

Phase 1: The Snapshot (Snapchat) - March 2026

The process begins with the monitoring of your land, so during this month data collection will be carried out to determine your Allocation Rights. However, this is not as simple as it sounds; you need to meet certain requirements in order to obtain Allocation Rights, which will enable you to draw up these letters. But pay attention, because I will explain what these requirements or aspects to take into account are:

• Critical Requirement: You must have your Base PP (Base Production Power) actively working on the plots; this means that you must have cards and DEC correctly staked, that is, you must be actively working on the land, extracting resources, and having your workers active with the DEC that each one requires depending on their level. With all this in order, you already meet this requirement.

• Percentage Allocation: Your manufacturing rights are calculated based on the percentage of total production you contribute to the global pool; this means that the higher your PP (production points), the greater your ability to forge copies of new cards. So, if you want to have more PP, you need cards with a lot of base PP, basically cards from older editions of the game, such as "Alpha" in regular or gold foil.

Phase 2: Manufacturing Period (March 31)

Once the rights have been secured and all the above requirements have been met, the official manufacturing period will begin on March 31, 2026, which is not far off. However, there are other aspects that we must take into account, as it is not just a matter of being active on the plots of land in "Praetoria"; you need other things as well. But, to put things in context, I will explain below:

• Resource Consumption: Time alone is not enough; you will need specific materials extracted from your lands in order to craft and/or create these cards; specifically, you need (Stone, Iron, and Cinder).

• Fortune Draw: When you craft, you automatically enter a random selection process to obtain Gold Foil versions or special editions with enhanced stats for these cards, so you could be very lucky to be selected in the draw, because these versions of the cards will surely be invaluable.

• Level 1: Incendiary. Chance to inflict burn damage upon impact.

• Level 3: Reveal. Removes the Stealth ability from enemy units.

• Level 5: Rust. Reduces the armor of all enemies by -2.

• Level 8: Shadow Focus. Increases allies' accuracy, counteracting the Blind mechanic.

• Level 10: Flame Fed. Heals or empowers itself when an enemy unit takes burn damage.
