I feel that Splinterlands has still so many ways to improve users retention and also share knowledge and keep the flame burning in this ecosystem. And one of them is to bring more data within the Splinterlands game itself, instead of having to go to Discord, Hive, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and so on. We can capitalize by simply embedding all this Social Media within the game itself and capitalize on the views and visits of the users.
Image a new section in the Splinterlands game which doesn't require even for you to be logged in. The section can be entitled Live Events and an idea is to embed all the Live AMAs and even the historical ones that are feed from YouTube. We don't need to store that data in Splinterlands, but rather facilitate the access of the players to it from the game. This will make all the external information agnostic to them and they will be able to focus at the game, news and the community built around it.
Beside the Live Events, it can capture other surrounding information about the Splinterlands from multiple channels. Some of them with the corresponding purpose can be:
Not only that this could improve players retention, but they will be able to know and enjoy the entire Splinterlands ecosystem. And as all of this is CONTENT, Splinterlands can use some external Ads platforms to get another revenue stream that can strengthen their financials and sustainability. This is my proposal for Splinterlands with minimum work to gain some other revenue channels and not need to worry about the future. Each of us can come up with ideas to support this great game and we shouldn't leave everything on the shoulders of the Splinterlands team.

I don't know if splinterlands has considered the external ad on the platform, but the revenue could potentially come on handy, I haven't even considered it myself.
As they are struggling with ensure a steady revenue stream solely from the game, they need to think outside the box. And this is one way they could do it and I am sure there are others...
That's right, if many things change, people's interest will come back to this game again and we will see it become popular all over the world again in a few months.
True, things need to improve to make players come back. Hopefully they will bring more positive changes in the game.
