Yesterday I got 3 BCX's of KAORI MATSUNE from legendary rarity draws for 350k glint. This is neutral legendary card.

My thoughts about this legendary neutral magic card

I think this is really powerful card from conclave reward edition. Silence is one of the most useful ability because in many battles there are magic monsters. Silence reduce magic damage by 1 for every enemy monster. Snipe is not bad and can be useful. Many players deal damage only with magic and they attack tank. So when you have in battle at least one monster which can attack diffrent monster not only tank you can have advantage in the battle.

In my opinion both abilities snipe and silence are really good combo. Card cost only 5 mana and have both abilities at level 2. I don't want talk about max level of this card because I will never use max level. I limit my monsters to level of my archons which is silver level cap. So this description is for silver league where I play all the battles. No matter if this is modern diamond league, guild brawl, tournaments. I always use silver level monsters.

I captured on this screen moment when Kaori Matsune attack monster in second position because of snipe ability. Snipe ability avoid first monster and look to deal damage to monster with magic, no damage or with ranged attack. Snipe will never hit units with melee attacks so is good to remember that. Ok it could attack melee monsters but only when no other monsters are in the battle in other case always looking to deal damage to monsters which have no attack damage.

Ruleset

First icon means there are no melee monsters avaiable in this battle.

Second icon means all monsters hp is reduced to 4.

Third icon means summoner can use 1 wild monster.

With that all informations from ruleset I decided to pick monsters with low hp and with some debuffs. Kaori Matsune is great here because have silence and snipe. Tofu archon is cool because give my all units +2 hp so I have best synergy with that ruleset. Of course this can be played with both ways with triage or with divine shields. I decided to play with triage to snowball to late game.

My strategy

After many rounds because I had no much damage only sustain on the battlefield I was able to kill several monsters of my opponent.

This is enough damage from Kaori Mitsune to just kill enemy team in late game 10+ rounds or more.
After wasting ressurects for hippo my opponent just was weaker. He decided to not use any tank heal in the battle so his late game is just terrible.
After that without tank heal my opponent just can't win he every round lose some hp from main tank and secondary tank because I have snipe.
And my late game was just much better with scavenger dual triage and tank with void at front and tank at backline with shield ability.

in Round 10 you can see that I still have all monsters in the battle and it looks like I didn't lost anything.

My promo card Grim grim can easy tank 2 damage from his tank with double heal and Mitsune with snipe just kill another unit.

Pretty easy win in late game.

I staked some bonuses and my reward in SPS and glint for that battle was HUGE!

Sadly my new card is not gold foil. But nothing is set in stone. I can try get this card in gold foil version from next legendary rarity draws or just from ultimate chests. Maybe I can buy this card from the market when I will see that I can play with this powerful monsters more games. But for now this is my good ace situational pick which can easy carry games in the late game.
