Many people like to share how many glint they collected at end of the season in Splinterlands. It's very interesting topic for me, because when I read other posts on the chain I can see how good these rewards could be, but not only that, it show me, if players play a lot and in which league and what is their win ratio?

100k glint is a lot for you?

100k glint at EOS right? For some players it could be a lot, but for me it is not that much really. When I actively play in Splinterlands I can get a way more just from winning battles in few days from start of the season. I noticed it right away, when I looked at timer, when season in Splinterlands ends and then I saw how many glint have my account just for playing modern ranked games. I need to say that my performance was pretty well at some point I had 53.7% win ratio, which is amazing in diamond.

Many players with stronger deck can't have 50%+ win ratio, so it is something, which really good describe how good you play in Splinterlands and how do you feel the meta. I can say that there are so many possibilities to play with different team comps, so I discover new meta almost every single season. Maybe it seems like impossible for many players, who play with the same strategies over and over again, but when I get more cards and I want to try win versus stronger decks I just need to think bigger about the possibility of use cards. Sometimes you see in game history of your opponent that he not look so strong right, but then have one game in these last battles, which is a game changer and maybe he can't play with that strategy, becasue ruleset was not good to play with that and then you face him in the battle and you see that super optimized team comp, which is just masterpiece. I had lose streak versus max level decks and then I lost 2 games in a row versus bronze deck. Is not that hard to lose versus bronze deck or even novice, when you think that your opponent can't win versus you, but facts are different. He can do that and mostly, when you ignore fact that he can do that, you just lose in cards selection phase, becasue you just make strong team comp with promo gold foil cards, but without good synergy and bang then you can't win :D

Is Splinterlands a hard game to learn?

Maybe it's not the chess, where there are so big numbers of unique moves, but I think there are so many undiscovered strategies and there are many, many cards even in modern to learn and these cards can work much different with other archons.

So yeah, Splinterlands is hard game to understand for new people. There so many abilities, so many rulesets and you need to have a lot of wisdom how to play in specific scenarios to just be the top players in leaderboard. If you can't be eternal student and learn new strategies then you just be in the same place and when you will be in the same place, people which test new things just surpass you with no problem even with lower level cards. That's a thing.

How to be better in Splinterlands?

I think you need to not only play a lot of games, which masters do. But you need to watch them and analyze pretty well. The games, where you lose are more important than the games that you won. Because, when you win you not think much about it. You just won. But when you lose you need to think after several loses versus similar strategy. And when you know that you lose not becasue of rng, then you know that is something, which can work in your strategy pretty well, maybe you can even play better with your cards!
