A very interesting monster from Splinterlands is one that is holding an axe in its hand and one of its eyes is damaged. Its teeth are sharp and pointed and its body is very big and heavy. It has a dangerous visual display which is all the time ready for attact towards opponent.

Warborn Chieftain monster is from Splinterlands and it looks very similar to the Dota 2 hero Pudge.. When I used to play Dota 2 playing with Pudge felt exactly like this monster. Pudge had a chain in his hand while this monster has an axe.

Pudge’s job was to pull enemy units toward himself using the chain and then suck their blood with his sharp teeth.

But here this monster has been slightly changed. It is given an axe in its hand and it attacks and damages the enemy with the axe. Its biggest feature and main ability as I understand is “Terror Blade.” This is a melee attack monster meaning it attacks from close range.

If you place it near the front tank monster it keeps dealing proper damage to enemy units with its melee attacks and takes full advantage of its ability.

Its interesting stats are as follows...

Mana cost: 7 (it can be used in low, mid and high mana battles)
Health: 8
Speed: 3
Terror Blade: 4

It has a balanced combination and you can easily play it in front to midline positions.

At higher levels it gets many abilities like Stun, Demoralize, Shield, Dispel and Phase as you can see in the monster image.

Among all these the one I liked the most is the Stun ability. The function of stun is that after every attack there is a 50% chance that enemy monsters get stunned meaning they cannot move or attack.

Because of this one full round of the enemy gets wasted and in the next round your allied units get a better chance to attack.

Warborn Chieftain can be a very dangerous monster if you place it correctly and select it in the right battle.

Talking about this monster card price it is easily available in Splinterland markets where you can trade at any time. There are different levels for this monster card and that depends the price of this as well. In the beginning levels the price of this card is just around $6.4 which is still expensive than other monster cards.

But in higher levels the price of this monster card reaches up to $22 to $30 again depending upon its level and CC. Seeing his ability and all other powers I think it is reasonable to buy at $6.4 at level 1 and then you can later keep on upgrading by investing more.
