Torch Myrmidon is a strong monster card in Splinterlands whose stats and abilities are very good. At the start I was thinking of it as a middle line monster and many times I used it in the middle line during battles. But now after getting more information actually it is a frontline monster.

If I talk about the identity of this card you can guess from its visual display. In the background you can see fire signs and in the top corner there is a fire symbol which proves that it belongs to the Fire splinter.

Its main role is a front line tank. It is known as a sustain fighter and its mana cost is eight. You can easily use it in mid to high mana battles while in low mana battles it can create some difficulty because its mana cost is high.

The most surprising and good thing about it is that even while being in the front line meaning while playing the role of a tank monster it can still attack. This is considered its special ability.

For example if it is in the front line its armor which is 2 keeps giving it protection and along with that it keeps attacking with +1 every round. That means while staying in the front line it can keep attacking enemy monsters.

Its health is also good and its armor keeps trying to protect its health. Remember whenever you see high health and high armor in any monster card you can use them in the front line.

In the same way this monsters speed is 4 which helps in attacks. Torch Myrmidon has two special abilities that is Reach and Heal.

In Reach what happens is that it can attack from position 2. This means you can place it in position 2 and still attack. The benefit of this is that you can use a double front line. That means you can place one strong tank first and then place this card behind it and take full advantage of its abilities.

Its second ability is healing. That means in every round it restores a portion of its health and this is the strength of this card.

From its visual design I imagine that this monster looks very angry and because of its anger, flames are coming out from its head and a spear is passing above it. It looks like it is trying to damage enemy monsters. Its visual display is very beautiful and I tried to imagine and present this idea.

Now lets talk about its weaknesses because every monster has its own weakness. Its first big weakness is that you cannot select it in low mana battles. Second it has only 1 melee attack so it will struggle against high health enemies. Third it can be affected by high burst damage meaning if the enemy has heavy damage it can make its heal ability useless.

Now if we talk about its price this monster is very strong but still very reasonable in price. In the screenshot you can see its minimum price is 0.087 which means at level 1 you can easily buy it and start your battles. Later if you want to upgrade it you can do that at each level which also impacts the price.
