This Splinterlands Season is Halfway

The current season in splinterlands is halfway and I am pretty much close to unlocking the Champion League. Every season I try to unlock Champion League and sometimes ends with champion three or champion two depending upon how it works on the battleground. I'm ok with both as long as I am in the Champion League because there is no substantial difference in the reward in both leagues. Ultimately my preference is to unlock the Champion League in every season which is important rather than thinking about if it is 3 or 2. Also, I know that the champion one league is quite difficult and that's the last milestone that one can unlock in the game hence it is understood that everyone is trying to be there which means the amount of competition is also big in that league.

The Current Season

As you can see on the below snapshot the current season is ending in approximately seven days and seven hours from now. It is this time when I am drafting this post word since its a countdown hence the moment you read my post the time will not remain the same. I have almost 40 energy as of now which means I can play more battles in a day and somewhere I can keep it around 20 energy. Generally, I keep my energy count around 20 but since I made some purchases in the shop and got a good amount of energy this count was increased because I tried to consume more over the weekend still the balance is good and it will allow me to play more battle in the coming days.

In an ideal scenario we get to play one battle every year because that is how the energy generation happens and playing more than one battle will end up eating all the energy and there might be a time when the energy count is zero and then it will not allow us to play. However, we have the option to buy energies from the market and the first set is also quite reasonable but buying more means the price will continue to increase depending upon the league you are part of.

SPS Stake

Now I'm going to talk about the SPS and I also have some liquid tokens which I am going to power up right away. Though I have not purchased sps from the market but still I earn through different ways in the game and all those tokens that I earned in the game are added to my holding. SPS is still my long-term holding in the game and Even though when I'm not buying then also I continue to accumulate whatever I earn and this is how I am trying to grow my sps stake.

Currently, my sps balance is more than 177k and I am trying to make it 200K as soon as possible. The APR is slightly reduced and now it is below 13% and to be precise it is 12.44% However it was over 13% a few weeks back. This is something not in our hands and it keeps on fluctuating but I think even this percentage is not bad and I can earn a lot of SPS tokens through the staking reward. I just hope that the price for SPS stays stable and now some appreciation is also expected because this will motivate the community and probably this will also trigger more purchases because many people would think that the token has the potential to grow which seems not there in the current market situation.

As I mentioned this season is halfway and I hope that by this weekend I should be able to reach the league I am targeting and then I will continue to play as usual till the season ends. I hope that I will be able to unlock the Champion League in the next couple of days even before the weekend but let's see how it goes because sometimes things don't get the way we expect however, I am pretty sure that I will be ending the season in champion league.
