Today I am going to share another important moment in my gaming journey. Because the card I recently purchased—Earthwork Sentinel—has added a new power to my deck. At first glance, the card’s design, stats, and in-game performance impressed me. In this blog, I am writing in detail about my experience, usage, strengths, and weaknesses, and why I bought this card—all in my own words.

The Feeling of Buying a New Card
Especially when it is a powerful unit of the Earth Element, the excitement increases even more. When I bought Earthwork Sentinel, my main goal was to strengthen the tank-line and increase its ability to survive in long matches.

First of all, the visuals of the card attracted me. The rock-hard body design that blends with nature—you can tell that this is a defensive unit. When I look at the stats, I realize that this card is not just a show-piece but real powerful warrior on battlefield.

Basic Stats Analysis of the Card
Earthwork Sentinel is basically an Earth Element Rare Unit, with a mana cost of 3. In this respect, it is very useful, because it is always advantageous to have a strong tank with low mana.
The card has the following starting stats:

Armor: 2
Life: 5
Speed: 3
At first glance, these stats may seem like it is not very strong, but its real power comes from the upgrade level. Its power increases significantly as the level increases.
Power increase with level upgrades
The most interesting thing about this card is its scaling system. I noticed that as the level increases, it becomes an almost unstoppable tank.
At levels 2-3 it gains some basic abilities, which increase defense
At levels 4-5 it gains a lot of survivability
At levels 6-7 it plays an important role in team fights
At level 8 it becomes almost a complete tank/damage shield
At level 8 its power increases a lot and its stats also become much more stable. At this level it is not only defensive, but also in a position to support the entire team.
Abilities and Usage
Earthwork Sentinel's biggest strength is its ability set. At different levels it unlocks new skills, which can change the course of the battle.
What I noticed the most:
It can hold the frontline for a long time
Can withstand high damage units
Slowly wears down the enemy team
It becomes almost invincible in the late game
This card is basically perfect for the “slow and steady wins the battle” style.
Its role in my deck
I usually use Earth Element because its tanking and control abilities are very good. After adding Earthwork Sentinel, my deck has become more balanced.
It is mainly for me:
Frontline tank
Damage absorbing unit
Team support role
When I use it, my other damage units have a lot more time to attack. As a result, the chances of winning the match increase a lot.
Real combat experience
In the first few matches, I noticed that this card often holds the match alone. Especially when the opponent uses fast attack decks, Earthwork Sentinel absorbs their attacks.
In one match I saw:
Two strong attacking units from the opponent could not take down my card quickly even though they attacked together. Instead, my team slowly made a reverse comeback and won the match.
Moments like these are what made this card even more valuable to me.
Strengths
Some of the main strengths of this card from my experience are:
Strong tanking ability with low mana
Rapid improvement with level up
Ability to sustain battles for a long time
Good sync with Earth decks
Stable defensive performance
Weaknesses
Although the card is strong, it also has some limitations:
Sometimes gets pressured against decks that attack very quickly
Can be a bit weak against magic damage
Not very impactful at the beginning (at low levels)
However, these weaknesses are greatly reduced with the right team setup.
Why I bought this card
The main reason I bought this card was “stability”. Sometimes in the game, just attacking is not enough, but survival is the real thing.
Earthwork Sentinel has given me that ability to survive. My deck is now not just based on attacking, but is much stronger defensively.
Future plans
I am now planning to upgrade this card further and take it to level 8. Because the power I have seen at level 8 is really amazing.
I hope that in the future it will serve as one of the main tank units in my deck and help me win more matches.
All in all, Earthwork Sentinel is an important addition to my gaming experience. It is not just a card, but has changed the balance of my entire deck.
This card can be a really good option for those who use Earth Element or are looking for a defensive tank. I can say from my own experience—if used correctly, it can turn the tide of the match.
