Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge - Why I do like the Water Deck Units the Most

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge. I am thrilled to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. This week we have a new topic where users are encouraged to write and share a tutorial or guide to help newbies on the Splinterlands game. I would submit my entry to that here in this post.

This week our topic is about sharing your strategy and favorite deck usage. When it comes to battle strategy I would say that there is no specific or special one to use. The reason for saying that is that every battle has special rulesets that determine the best monsters or units to use in the battle. This makes it hard to select a particular strategy or deck as your favorite. However, I understand that yes people can have a special one of course they use it most in battles.

Having said that, my favorite deck is usually the Water Deck monsters and I do love them a lot in battles due to the special abilities of most of the monsters there. I would share a battle link here where I used the Water Deck to have a win which was very easy and simple.

In this battle, the ruleset was "Standard" where there is no change in gameplay, and monsters possess all their special abilities and also no restrictions in monster usage. At the end of the first round, no monster was eliminated from the battlefield on both sides of the team.

At the end of the 2nd and 3rd rounds of battle, I eliminated two of my opponent's monsters while only one was eliminated from my team lineup.

In the subsequent rounds, the battle was easy for me because I had more units on my lineup than my opponent. The battle ended in five rounds and I emerged victorious.

The strategy was using Djinn Oshannus in the first position and adding a healing monster to my lineup. Also, the addition of the Uraeus monster was a perfect one as it helped in eliminating the last-position monster of my opponent.

Sometimes you need to think beyond the box and predict the units of your monsters before going in for the battle. The whole concept is behind the ruleset of a battle. You must understand the ruleset and also know which monsters best perform for a particular ruleset in battle.

Thank you all for your time and attention while reading my post. A link to my Land is provided here.
