Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge. I am thrilled to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. This week we have a new topic where users are encouraged to write and share a tutorial or guide to help newbies on the Splinterlands game. I would submit my entry to that here in this post.
The Lands update on the Splinterlands game was a very big update that was added to the game and I must say since then new players and inactive ones have come back to playing the game. This feature finalized the purpose of the name "Splinterlands" in the game. A lot were eager to wait for this period and it finally arrived at the expected time. First of all, let's talk about the types of lands that we have in the game.
Last week, I took you guys through the Lands feature where we looked at how to earn from the Lands and also how to participate as well. This week we shall be looking at some of the ways to make things easy for yourself in the game including earning rewards and also playing with the best strategy.
When we talk about strategies in the Splinterlands game, it is kind of a broad topic to tackle because I see it to be an important aspect of the game to help one earn from the game. If you don't know the rules of the game, how do you then play? First of all, I would like us to look at the rental system in the game. This feature allows players to rent any cards they like excluding Gladius units. Recently in the game, the one-click rental feature was introduced in the game where players can rent a bulk of monsters with just one click instead of renting one by one which is a waste of time and resources.
Mind you that, you can equally create a set of cards and place it on the market for rent where you can earn some nice DEC when a player rents. Rentals are one of the ways of earning on the Splinterlands game.
In addition, playing battles and winning earns you SPS rewards as well as glints which can be used to purchase other collectibles and cards in the game. These Glint rewards depend on your rank and also the amount of staked SPS you have in the game. You earn more Glint points when you have higher staked SPS in-game.
Another way of earning from the Splinterlands game is by placing your cards in the Market for sale. With the market feature, you can buy or sell any cards which are placed in the marketplace. DEC is usually the native currency in transacting in the game, so you need to make sure you have enough to make a purchase.
There are a lot of several ways to earn in the game including Lands, brawls, etc. Stay tuned so we can have a look at them next week.
Thank you all for your time and attention while reading my post. A link to my Land is provided here.
