Hello there hivers! Any thoughts for the day? As for me, doing something out of boredom took my first cup of coffee along the terrace while enjoying the cool weather and the thick green plants outside.
I glanced at the old wooden center table. It has seen good old days but then the old couple has long been gone. I had been longing to have this kind of center piece that's cut out from the remains of the timber.
We cleaned the base first and scraped the dirt.
We still have a spare plastic varnish so I don't need to spend money for my project.
I brushed the base in one stroke only in order to make a fine finish.
See, it's now more presentable instead of dumping it in one corner!
I was really happy with the result! A little DIY can indeed change something old to something new!
My 15-year old bonsai complement to the surrounding.
It's now at the center to witness the happy talks of our friendly neighbors especially during our afternoon snacks!

Wow! I love your antic wood table, dear. With your diy it is now beautiful wood table.
Yes sis. It was a beautiful transformation. It pays to recycle things instead of buying a new one.
Wow, I really loved how you transformed it to a new work of art. It's creative 👏
Yes dear...making use of old stuffs is quite an accomplishment because there are lots of memories in it. Thank you for dropping by!
