[EN/PT-BR] The big day has arrived! Now it's 4 years of Hive! LET'S GOOOOO!

Who would have thought that the day would come. I didn't even remember that it was on May 8th, 2021 that it all started, my journey in the Hive! I had in mind that my Hive-versary was in May, but I didn't even remember the date. With the rush of so many things, it was a surprise to receive the Hivebuzz notification!

I arrived here through Splinterlands, looking for a way to combine my passion for games with some way to make money. So, the first thing I discovered was the term play-to-earn, so playing to win was that. Among so many attempts, if I remember correctly, the ones I liked the most were Rollercoin and Splinterlands.

Over time, I played, understanding how everything worked in the game, but perhaps like many who only play, I discovered better that posting on Hive was much more than just participating in the 2 weekly challenges, there was much more. More topics, other communities, photos, programming, dividends, so many incredible things that I consumed and today I can say that I am part of Hive and that it is part of my life.

I've cut back a lot on my posts about games, but I've never stopped loving them. Maybe that's why I still play a lot of them, since I've been investing time or something to grow in them for years. But even though that has decreased, I do everything I can to make my daily presence here known, trying to interact more, participate more and make my presence felt.

Even though sometimes everything gets rushed and tight, balancing the life of a husband and father isn't always easy. I have to divide my attention between my wife and my children (and I don't think that's bad at all), it's just that it's hard work, because I always want to be present at Hive in some way.

Evolution in the last 30 days:

Among so many changes, this year I realized even better the importance of having HP in my account, how I can be an inspiration to people, how I can be someone who helps them in some way. Help doesn't have to be just financial, sometimes just having someone to believe in you, to say "you can do it!" is more than enough to keep going.

With that, my big goal this year is to get 20,000 HP, and right now I have over 14,500. An achievement, an adventure that always excites me and, even though people outside the Hive think it's all crazy, I confess that I love being part of this madness!

In addition, I changed my delegations, I have less than 30% of my delegated HP, I started participating in Power UP Month (PUM), doing daily Power Ups, inspiring and being inspired by people, I learned to save my money better (even though I often don't even have any money haha), in short, there are many things I have learned and I have much more to learn!

Without a doubt, one of the coolest things that happened was SNAPS, the people I met there from scratch or the ones I got to know better, bonds created, hearts united, incredible partners!

And not to mention the “PU GANG” haha, that was great, a bunch of people doing power ups every day and now we can say that we are a gang, the PU gang that is always there trying to increase our HP! It is by helping that we are helped!

Finally, I would like to thank everyone and everything. I really want to thank you for this opportunity to get here and that, even though everything is difficult at times, I can say that it is really cool to be part of something, to fight for something that you like and that you have dreamed of. My dream has always been to “make money playing video games”, I think I came close to that, but in fact, I found something much better!

Seeing these numbers, I can only see how much I have grown. We can only go up, that is where I want to go, to climb higher and higher. I posted on SNAPS the other day that when I joined here, my vote was nothing, just a bunch of zeros. Today, a 100% vote comes to $0.13, not enough for many, but a lot for me!

I hope I can stay for another 4, 8, 12 years or even longer than that. As long as I can and can handle it, I want to stay in the Hive, I want to keep my friendships, laugh at the memes, the stories, and learn more about each of their stories.

Happy 4 years! You can't stop those who never give up!

Quem diria que o dia chegou. Eu nem estava lembrando que foi no dia 8 de maio de 2021 que tudo começou, minha jornada na Hive! Tinha em mente que meu Hive-versário era em Maio, mas a data nem lembrava. Com a correria de tantas coisas, foi uma surpresa receber a notificação do Hivebuzz!

Cheguei aqui pelo Splinterlands, buscando uma forma de unir a minha paixão por jogos, com alguma forma de ganhar dinheiro. Então, a primeira coisa que descobri foi o termo play-to-earn, então jogar para ganhar era isso. Dentre tantas tentativas, se não me falha a memória os que mais gostei foram o Rollercoin e o Splinterlands.

Com o tempo, fui jogando, entendendo como tudo funcionava no jogo, mas talvez como muitos que somente jogam, fui descobrindo melhor que postar na Hive era muito mais do que somente participar dos 2 desafios semanais, havia muito mais. Mais assuntos, outras comunidades, fotos, programação, dividendos, tanta coisa incrível que fui consumindo e hoje posso dizer que faço parte da Hive e que ela faz parte da minha vida.

Diminui bastante meus posts sobre jogos, mas nunca deixei de ama-lós, talvez por isso ainda esteja jogando muito deles, que já faz anos que estou investindo tempo ou algo para crescer neles. Mas, mesmo que isso tenha diminuído, faço de tudo para marcar a minha presença diária aqui, tentando interagir mais, participar mais e marcar presença.

Mesmo que às vezes tudo fique corrido e apertado, conciliar a vida de marido e pai nem sempre é fácil. Preciso dividir minha atenção com minha esposa e meus filhos (e eu não acho isso ruim, de jeito nenhum), somente que é trabalhoso, porque quero sempre estar presente na Hive de alguma forma.

Evolução nos últimos 30 dias:

Dentre tantas mudanças, este ano percebi melhor ainda a importância de ter HP em minha conta, em como posso ser uma inspiração para as pessoas, em como posso ser alguém que as ajuda de alguma forma. Ajuda não precisa ser somente financeira, às vezes somente ter alguém para acreditar em você, para dizer “você consegue!” é mais que suficiente para continuar.

Com isso, meu grande objetivo este ano é de conseguir 20.000 HP, e no momento estou com mais de 14.500. Um feito, uma aventura que está sempre me animando e, por mais que as pessoas de fora da Hive achem que tudo é loucura, eu confesso que amo fazer parte dessa loucura!

Além disso, mudei minhas delegações, tenho menos de 30% do meu HP delegado, comecei a participar do Power UP Month (PUM), fazer Power Ups diários, inspirar e ser inspirado pelas pessoas, aprendi a poupar melhor o meu dinheiro (mesmo que muitas vezes nem tenha dinheiro mesmo haha), enfim, são muitas coisas que aprendi e tenho muito mais para aprender!

Com certeza, uma das coisas mais legais que aconteceu foi o SNAPS, as pessoas que conheci lá do zero ou as que pude conhecer melhor, laços criados, corações juntos, parceiros incríveis!

E sem contar a “PU GANG” haha, essa foi ótima, uma galera fazendo power up todo dia e agora podemos dizer que somos um bando, a gangue do PU que está aí sempre correndo atrás de aumentar o nosso HP! É ajudando que se é ajudado!

Por fim, somente agradecer por tudo e por todos. Quero agradecer mesmo por essa oportunidade de ter chegado aqui e que, mesmo que tudo seja difícil em certos momentos, posso dizer que é muito legal fazer parte de algo, lutar por algo de que você gosta e que sonhou. Esse meu sonho sempre foi “ganhar dinheiro jogando videogame”, acho que cheguei quase perto disso, mas, na verdade, encontrei algo muito melhor!

Vendo estes números, concretizam todo o meu crescimento. É só para cima que podemos ir, é para lá que quero ir, subir mais e mais. Esses dias postei nos SNAPS que, quando entrei aqui, meu voto era poeira, um nada, somente um monte de zeros. Hoje, um voto 100% chega a $ 0,13, pouco para muitos, muito para mim!

Espero poder ficar mais 4, 8, 12 anos ou até mais que isso. Até onde eu puder e aguentar, eu quero ficar na Hive, quero manter minhas amizades, rir dos memes, das histórias, conhecer mais a história de cada um deles.
