Not every photo turns out just the way you would like it to, however sometimes just being creative can feel good and it also gives you a way to learn. I have spent 3 nights trying to get this photo just right and I still feel like it needs a lot of work. Each time I try to take it I think of a different way to light it or make little tweaks to the settings for the photo stack. I have experimented with different glass treatments, I have switched from Rain X to a Chemical Guys ceramic spray. I will be experimenting with a different kind of glass as well, I spent most of my night last night preparing it. I also need to figure out a way to create a bit of black shadowing in the water droplets just to give it some more separation from the background. Overall the process takes time and I am still learning a lot about what does and does not work. I still enjoy the journey even if the results are not what I was hoping for.
Your idea is great, we can say that the experiment was a success!
Thank you, I feel like I am my own worst critic sometimes. It is what drives me to get better.
