Poor Stray Cat

Hello my friends! I hope you are all well this weekend. Tiring for me but looking forward to resting tonight.

Sharing a lovely little photo I took last night, if anybody remembers my hedgehog posts from earlier last year I would be feeding a bunch of random hedgehogs that appeared and It was lovely while it lasted, they all slowly disappeared and sadly I saw a few squashed by cars. Horrible sight when you become a caretaker somewhat to them, makes you feel awful knowing what happened to them and why they no longer show up. But during those times a stray cat would always appear for food-

At first I presumed she wasn't a stray and somebody owned her but as the days and weeks past she would linger outside nightly awaiting some food the poor thing, posted a tonne in facebook cat groups and such trying to find out if she does have an owner but to no luck. She is a very sweet and patient girl! Been contemplating calling out rescue services but we don't know where she goes or appears from, only ever showing up around 11PM to midnight for her meal. Been trying to improve her trust to me also with lingering around but I can't ever approach her even still, all these months later she is far too scared of me. But progress is progress, she seems to be doing good and is happy to have meals from us whenever possible. One day ideally she will be brave enough to come closer and we can help her more from there.
