Hive Savings Goal Status Update September 2025 - No Time to Lose

Foreword
Good day everyone, hope everyone have a good week so far as we draw towards the closing of the week. Time really pass us by so quickly and we are in the month of September with only 3 more months before we draw a close to 2025. So as with every month, I will look at the progress of my Hive goals for the year.

2025 Goal Progress Check

Primary Goal: Reaching 18k HP by 31st December 2025
Secondary Goal: Stretch primary goal and push towards 20k HP by 31st December 2025

Delta to primary goal: 2628 HP
Delta to secondary goal: 4628 HP

In terms of growth, we manage to gain 665 HP since the last update, which I think is quite a decent growth within a month as I charge towards the completion on the primary goal. The secondary goal of above 4000HP delta is looking tougher by the day and also a result of my fatigue that build up due to my recent work taking a toll on my mental tiredness. While things might seem a little tough, I do wish to be consistent so that growth in hive will remain steady. Like one of leaders always say, impossible just comes a little longer but we will get there.

Enablers for Goal

There are a couple of things that have worked well for me in 2024 and I know these will be the key enablers for my goal in 2025. Let's go through them 1 by 1.

Blogging on Hive Blockchain
This has always been the biggest source of HP growth and the need to be consistent in writing and curation. Will continue to stay strong in this and try to grow accordingly as shared in the power up day post, I've gain about 688HP in a month. Thank you for all the support in curation of my posts.

Layer 2 Token Management
There are many nice layer 2 tokens on Hive that provide some form of passive income. And there are also that have been accumulated while blogging and curating. Actively managing these tokens are important for growth, so here are some of the layer 2 tokens that actually generate liquid hive or swap.hive for me and boost my HP growth.

Liquid Hive Sources:

Holding EDSI tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.106 HIVE per week.
Holding BRO tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.021 HIVE per week.
Holding SIM tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.030 HIVE per day.
Holding DAB tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.005 HIVE per day.

This totals up to 0.372 HIVE per week is a good increase compared to last month. DAB dividend become more consistent and I've added it back. Holding SIM and even growing it is still the main driver in growth due to me playing dCity which will be mentioned in the later paragraphs. EDSI dropped a little from last month but I still have quite a lot of faith in it and would want to work on growing it whenever possible. BRO will always be BRO, still very consistent and I want to see how I can find additional juice to build it up.

SWAP.HIVE Sources:
Holding BBH tokens - The amount I have yields me 0.01109 SWAP.HIVE per week.

Amazing, this slow and steady coin really continue to grow bit by bit as we continue to get small amount of passive coming out of this weekly.

dCity.
This is the biggest piece of the pie that generates more liquid hive when holding onto this token. Active managing and seeking ways to improve SIM income in the game will allow me to hold more SIM and subsequently gather more daily liquid hive drip. I am enjoying the game right now after an initial setup by a friend and now building up the city to yield me more SIM on a daily basis and ensuring the city becomes prosper to allow strong base of SIM and reaching the 1 million SIM Power mark to be part of SIM Millionaire for better benefits. At this moment I am pushing more layer 2 coins that are sitting around that I am not focused on into SIM so that my daily liquid hive drip can increase with more SIM accumulated. Another milestone that I want to achieve in this is to hold on to 1million SIM to be a SIM Millionaire. I am 300k SIM away fom the 1million mark and I would like to get this hit as soon as possible to boost up the HP base for stronger growth.

External Faucets
While the accumulated amount is not going to make you rich and only a very small amount everytime you claim a faucet, it is something to just past time when you are commuting or waiting to collect your meals. I call it the rainy day petty cash and when needed, can be deposited into hive to boost HP or even make small token purchases.

Interim Plans Summary

• SIM Holdings increase is the key item that I want to stabilize this aspect of the passive
• Venturing into DAB and EDSI increase to further strengthen the base of passive

Closing
We are in to the last quarter of the year and I do hope I can quickly get my goals on track and ensure things are in a more stable state by the end of the year. But at the same time, I am also watching my health condition due to increased fatigue due to my recent work to not get into a state of burnout.
