SPEAK TO THE SOUL (LOH #202)
Communication is a very vital part of building relationships, a lot of the time, one of the major factors that kill relationships is centered around communication. It could be uncommunicated expectations, uncommunicated priorities, uncommunicated reasoning, and even uncommunicated knowledge. If I'm secretly expecting my partner to do something without telling them, it's uncommunicated expectations, if I value things my partner doesn't know about, it is uncommunicated priorities, if I do things only for reasons best known to me (Be it good or bad) it is uncommunicated reasoning, and if I know things that I know my partner lacks but refuse to teach them it is uncommunicated knowledge.

There are a whole lot of communication problems people face in relationships and this doesn't exempt those who know all the concepts of communications. In fact too much knowledge about communication can make you look like a perfectionist which is very bad for a relationship as to you, your partner will always be wrong or defaulting in one way or the other and you in a bid to always correct them would make the relationship go south. Sometimes the best communication in a relationship is the communication of silence and solitude. In my opinion, it helps the partner that talks too much to come a little bit to the level of the silent partner and gives room for peace at times. But then again too much silence is unhealthy.
Communication to me is not about talking, but always passing an understandable message. Partners on the other hand thrive when they have understood each other to a large extent through and through. Love hits differently when the person you're in love with can see into your soul. And you can see into theirs as well. So at that point every word spoken has a rhythm that only the partners can understand. Every smile and every tears is understood in a thousand ways and this is when you know that your conversations are quality because they are not just words, and most importantly not words that any other person can understand. Growing to this point in a relationship requires a whole lot, but with the right person, it's a feet that can be achieved.

STOPI swear to God Kelvin, you hit the nail on the head! Many times, it feels like people don’t get what communication means. They expect words all the time (which is essential) however words can only have impact when the message is understood. I have only a few people who I talk with and reach an understanding. They don’t misunderstand me, always try to correct me, have something to say about my thought process. They just listen and we get to a point. A point of understanding. Those are the kind of people I always find myself talking to. No judgements at all.
This is the aspect where a lot of people lack listening skills. They are hearing the words, but not the thoughts behind the words... Yes we are not thoughts readers, but if we listen enough we can know the intents.
I usually tell my partner if you can't understand my silence you can't understand my words. If I say come, Everyone else might be hearing come, but only us understand what's coming because I have an intent that is relatable.
And then again, I must say you are very lucky to have such people around you who don't just know you, but understand you to a very deep level. They are vital for pulling you up when you are down

You nailed it @kilvnrex . I can relate to the fact where uncommunicated aspects make the relationship complex and unpleasing. Keeping on with our silent expectations leads us to frustration. It is better to speak and let the other people understand instead of expecting them to figure out the stuff on their own.
