LOH 222: INSPIRATION ALL AROUND

We all draw our inspiration from one thing or another and most times it works for us. The benefit of having someone or something that inspires us is that we see the possibility in things that in our own minds are impossible. We also see that we have more to offer than we can even imagine. Having an inspiration is what drives home the feeling that we have for something.

Right now, I’m trying to imagine myself or someone without any thing inspiring or pushing them. They will be living but not as well as they want to because everything around them just seem the same as the other day. There was once a time in my life when I didn’t had an inspiration or when I shut out every thing that inspires me. I felt numb and just wanted to do nothing. I believe we all come to that point in our lives when we start questioning the things we do and before we know it, we are already giving up on ourselves and eventually the things around us.

Joyce Meyer described it as, “The Battlefield Of The Mind.” We wage so many battles in our minds because that is where every action we take comes from. As we think, so we are. If we always thing good and positive things, we will eventually become good and positive people but if we thing of only the worst things happening to us, that is how it is definitely going to be. I see a lot of people get tired about talking goodness into their existence because it seems forced, little do they know how much that has helped them do better over the years. They are definitely going to realize it when they stop.

I draw my inspiration from so many people, things, experiences and inspired people. I draw my inspiration from the word of God because most times it just doesn’t make sense to anyone why things should be the way he says they should be but then, the moment I just trust and obey what he has said, I see things take a new turn. I take inspiration from those who strive to do things the right way. I take inspiration from those who give without expecting anything back. I take inspiration from those who put in effort into something and get a massive result. I take inspiration from my background. I take inspiration from my journey so far. I take inspiration from the people I have met. I take inspiration from life’s uncertainties.

I take inspiration from myself. I take inspiration from my wins and my failures. I take inspiration from those tears that I cry when I just feel like giving up. I take inspiration from the fact that I wasn’t at any place by error. I was there because I needed to be there so I should always be grateful and make the most of it. I take inspiration from some songs that I have listened to. I take inspiration from some movies I have seen. I take inspiration from some post I have made. I take inspiration from the fact that things just seem so difficult at some point. I want to keep going so I can see what happens in the end.

I have streams of things and people that inspires me and most of all, I want to be an inspiration to others and that in itself also inspires me. I make mistakes and I get another opportunity to learn something that makes me better than before. I get criticized for not doing something rightly and I do that thing better on my next trial. All of these and more that I won’t and can’t mention, are what inspires me to be the person I am today.

I’m special grateful to @saffisara for this topic on ”WHO AND WHAT INSPIRES YOU?”. I don’t think I have even given a detailed response to what inspires me until now.
