Summer Memories

As you probably noticed during The Summer ones we had a lot of tapas. Partially this was because we were so happy that we finally found decent food on every single Corner. Unlike Budapest, where we had a very hard time eating in a restaurant without Being served greasy food.

Low quality

Unfortunately The overall Quality of food served in restaurants there was very low. As long as You're a Healthy person without any stomach issues you can manage fine, but this is not the case as my boyfriend has quite severe stomach issues. At some point, we couldn't eat anywhere anymore without him having to throw up afterward. Of course, this makes the experience a lot less enjoyable. Therefore we just stayed home most of the time.

No stomach issues

As soon as we set Food on Spanish ground there was a huge improvement in his Health and for so Quite some time actually no issues at all with his stomach. It seemed a bit too good to be true but yet It was really happening. Of course, this made him and me very happy and instantly confirmed that we did the right thing by moving back to Spain as the health issue was such a huge burden on our family. It was horrible to see him getting sick from anything the last months before we left the country.

Enjoying tapas

For the first time in years, my boyfriend also enjoyed everything that was offered in the restaurants even The less Healthy food without getting sick afterward. Every single day we were amazed that this was happening and of course, we wondered how low the food quality actually was in Hungary. Or maybe it was something in the air that will tell? Either way, it's very strange to experience and sees this happening.

Learned to appreciate goat cheese

Besides eating All The familiar food we also tried out new Things like this Excellent Goat cheese salad. I never tried goat cheese in my life until I ate it here in a salad. Neither did my boyfriend but it turns out we both love it. It has become part of the menu at home as well now.

Not expensive

The best thing about this place was that It wasn't expensive at all. There were quite a few dishes that could be ordered for as little as three euros. De bill was always very reasonable and below 30 Euros for the three of us.

I'm looking back at some nice memories from our first summer back in Spain.
