As I've shared a few times already, we really love my homemade banana bread here. With the exception of my boyfriend, he's not a huge fan but he thinks it's ok. My daughter makes up for his lesser excitement by being the biggest fan of my banana bread. She absolutely adores it and I love it too, especially since it's become perfect after baking it many times now. Recently, I decided to do my boyfriend a favor by trying out a banana bread recipe with nuts. He loved it, but we both didn't fancy it. So most likely, it will not be baked as often as regular banana bread. Time to find something meeting both our preferences: banana bread muffins with walnuts.
To bake these muffins, I used the exact same batter as I use for the banana bread, only with the difference that I add chopped walnuts to the batter before adding them to the muffin pan.
Also needed:
Now let them cool off before you eat them, I personally use this cooling rack:
Let's check one on the inside:
So good! These are keepers, let me tell you! We all loved them!
I had some batter left and baked another batch of 6. I read you can store them in the freezer as well therefore I will place some in the freezer as I first need to find out how long these stay good to eat without drying out.
I hope you liked this foodies post and if you tried the recipe, let me know in a comment how you liked it! Thanks for reading! <3

Thanks @mba2020, they smell so good and taste great too. Even the next morning :) haha
Urrrrrgggggh!
These look amazing. Being a diabetic, these are some of the foods I really...And I mean REALLY...Miss lol
Thanks for sharing, even though my mouth is drooling lol
Oh I can imagine! Maybe you should check out @generikat's sourdough muffins, I think these may be suitable :)
I think she shares much healthier recipes :)
Would this work to make fruit salad?
Whatever you fancy! Maybe boil the eggs instead, forget about the butter and milk, instead add some lettuce and paprika. Some cheese would be nice too!
Hello they must be really good. i love bananas. I'll try to cook them! thanks and heartfelt congratulations
@luba555
Yes really good and so easy! If you like bananas, give it a try, I'm sure you'll love them :)
heartfelt thanks I will try to prepare them!
These look great, @thisismylife. Walnuts make a huge difference. This recipe is very similar to the one my wife uses. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I know that it makes a huge difference because my boyfriend really doesn't like the regular banana bread at all :) while he ate a few muffins already, so as we all like these, this will probably be my new recipe to replace the normal banana bread.
Too bad that I can´t eat wallnuts! :D They look great, I would love to try them!!
Are you allergic? :o
Well best to stay as far away from these as possible then.
Can you eat other nuts? I made a banana bread using another mix of nuts for my bf recently, he loved it.. I like these ones better though..
This is just too good. Wow.
LOL, thanks!
It's muffin Tuesday LOL! Yours look so yummy, I love how the walnuts are so perfectly dispersed, and banana walnut are one of my favorites! I'm double cracking up because I threw most of mine in the freezer too, awesome!
Those cupcake wrappers are super cute btw! Dangit, now I am hungry, for a muffin lol!
Hope you are having/had a great night😊
I printed the recipe so I could make these this weekend. Thanks for sharing.
You will not regret it as it's so easy :)
Let me know how they turned out please!
