Some nights, all you want is something tasty and comforting. It does not have to be an expensive meal or a fancy restaurant. Sometimes, all you need is to make your favorite food at home, sit around the table, and enjoy it with loved ones.
Last night, we had a craving for something special. Nothing sounded better than our favorite Filipino-style spaghetti.

Spaghetti always brings happiness to our table. Whether it is a special occasion or just a regular day, this pasta dish gets everyone excited. The sweet, creamy sauce with pork, hot dogs, cheese, and vegetables makes it the perfect comfort food.
So instead of ordering takeout, I made our own spaghetti. It was a great way to cook something tasty and satisfy our late-night cravings.
Our Ultimate Favorite Spaghetti Recipe
For this recipe, I used 1 kilogram of spaghetti noodles, enough for the whole family. I wanted the sauce to be flavorful, creamy, cheesy, and full of ingredients so every serving would be satisfying.

Ingredients
How to Cook Our Homemade Spaghetti
First, I gathered all the ingredients. I sliced the hotdogs, chopped the onion and garlic, diced the carrots and bell peppers, and grated the cheese. Having everything prepared ahead of time makes cooking easier, especially when you are eager to eat.
Step 1: Cook the spaghetti noodles.
I boiled plenty of water in a large pot. When it was ready, I added the spaghetti noodles and cooked them as the package said, until they were tender but still firm. Then I drained the noodles and set them aside.

Step 2: Fry the pork.
In a large pan, I heated the oil and added the ground pork. I cooked it until it browned and released its fat. Frying the pork first makes the sauce richer and more flavorful.

Step 3: Add the onion and garlic.
Once the pork was browned, I pushed it aside and added the chopped onion and garlic. I sautéed them until they smelled good, then mixed everything together.
Step 4: Add the hotdogs and vegetables.
Next, I added the sliced hotdogs and cooked them for a few minutes. Then I put in the chopped carrots, followed by the red and green bell peppers. These vegetables add flavor and make the sauce look colorful.

Step 5: Add the cheese and Reno liver spread.
After mixing in the vegetables, I added the grated cheese and stirred until it started to melt. Then I added the Reno liver spread, which made the sauce richer and more savory.

Step 6: Pour in the tomato sauce.
I poured the tomato sauce into the pan and mixed everything well. I let it simmer so the flavors from the pork, hotdogs, vegetables, cheese, and liver could blend together.

Step 7: Make it creamy with evaporated milk.
This is my favorite part! I poured in the Alaska evaporated milk and mixed it into the sauce. The milk made our spaghetti creamy and satisfying. I also adjusted the taste with some salt, pepper, and sugar to our liking.

Step 8: Combine everything.
When the sauce was ready, I mixed it with the cooked spaghetti noodles until every strand was well coated.
Finally, our favorite spaghetti was ready to eat!
A Simple Night Made Special

Seeing our finished spaghetti made all the effort worth it. The mix of tomato sauce, creamy milk, melted cheese, and savory ingredients gave us the flavor we always crave.
Homemade food has something special about it. It is more affordable, and we can adjust the ingredients to our taste and make sure everyone gets plenty.

That night, we did not need a celebration or a fancy restaurant to enjoy a great meal. Our kitchen was where we satisfied our cravings, and our dining table became the perfect place for another special family moment.
Sometimes, happiness is simple: a plate of spaghetti, lots of cheese, and being with people who make ordinary nights feel special.

It looks tasty
Spaghetti with ground beef—I love it; it's one of my favorites. I like the combination with sausage, but I didn't care for the liver pâté, hehehe—I'm not a fan of offal. Really good meal. Best regards.
