Hello to my fellow co-Hivers and @FoodiesBeeHive community! 💚🐝 It’s Saturday, and today I’m happy to share another simple homemade recipe with you. Sometimes, we don’t need fancy ingredients to make a delicious meal—fresh vegetables, simple seasonings, and a little effort can already make something warm and healthy for the family.🌿🥗
I hope you’ll enjoy this simple recipe and maybe try it in your own kitchen too. Happy Saturday, everyone, and happy cooking! 🍲✨

Sometimes, we do not need expensive ingredients to prepare a delicious and healthy meal. Today, I decided to cook a simple law-uy using some fresh vegetables and ingredients that were available in our kitchen. I used horseradish, vine called malabar nightshade, okra, and a few simple seasonings like Ginger, Curls, Salt, and Monosodium Glutamate. It was an easy dish, but it was full of fresh flavors.

First, I prepared all the ingredients. I washed the vegetables carefully to remove any dirt. I picked the fresh Horseradish leaves and removed them from the stems. I also cleaned the Malabar Nightshade and cut the okra into smaller pieces. For the seasonings, I peeled and sliced a small piece of Ginger, then prepared the Curls, Salt, and MSG.

After everything was ready, I placed enough water in a pot and let it boil. Once the water was already boiling, I added the sliced Ginger and Curls first. I allowed them to boil for a few minutes so their natural flavor could come out and give the soup a nice aroma.

Next, I added a little Salt and MSG to season the broth. I mixed everything gently and tasted the soup to make sure the flavor was just right. After that, I put the okra into the boiling soup and let it cook until it became tender but still fresh-looking.

When the okra was almost cooked, I added the Malabar Nightshade and Horseradish leaves. These leafy vegetables did not need much cooking, so I allowed them to simmer for only a short time. I gently stirred them into the soup until the leaves softened and blended nicely with the other ingredients.

After a few more minutes, my simple law-uy was finally ready. The soup was warm, light, and comforting, while the vegetables added different textures and natural flavors.
This simple meal reminded me that healthy food can also be affordable and easy to prepare. With fresh vegetables from the garden or local market, a few basic seasonings, and a little time in the kitchen, we can already make something nutritious for the whole family. Sometimes, the simplest dishes are the ones we enjoy the most. 💚
